The inspection was basic. The home is 1 year old.
The report had not raised any issues or concerns.
After closing we noticed the water pressure wasn't good, only to find out there was a broken water main. The main had apparently been leaking for some time. Had it been caught at inspection it could have been repaired before we took possession of the property. The wiring for the oven was done to accommodate a single oven not the double oven that is in the home. The breaker in the fuse box was also not big enough, it was for a single not a double oven. He only had to turn on the ovens to learn that the wiring and AMP of the breaker were incorrect.
"Did you attempt to make any contact with my office? As per the agreement that is the steps to be taken when a issue arises. If no contact is made that not fault on our end but on yours. As in the agreement if not contact is made to rectify anything after no contact is considered slander and the company will have no choice but seek legal ends. When we leave the home we sent a report of any issues found. If none are found at the time of inspection then that is not fault by our company."
