Grand Slam Concrete & Curbing

Never received a return phone call or response to my Angies List message despite repeated attempts.

Mark was very professional and friendly.  He was great about answering all my questions and making sure I was comfortable and knew exactly how the process would go.  Grand Slam Concrete was able to come very quickly and got the job done well and fast.  I would definitely recommend them to others!

He came for the estimate promptly. The work was done just a few days later. No muss no fuss, the way we like it. The job was perfect. The price was right. Mark was very courteous. What more can anyone ask for?

Mark was very responsive, positive and professional. He did great quality work (extending my driveway) and advised me before the process on design options. He dug out 5 inches of earth and poured fiber-reinforced concrete in a perfectly formed- area, as discussed. GREAT JOB!

I called for an estimate. The gentleman asked if I wanted to be home when they came by or it was self explanatory. I requested to be home. Set up an appointment so I took off work. Nobody showed up, and nobody called.
I have never heard back from them since. That is fine, I found another contractor.

Mark is simply wonderful. This was a small project and he is very busy. He made the time, was very responsive to our needs, worked with us and went out of his way to help us. Mark is a real human being, not just a company and we cannot recommend him highly enough!

Mark came out on a Saturday and arrived on time. I have a relatively small problem but he still spent a lot of time talking it over with me, giving me his opinion of what he thought was occurring and some of the ways to correct it. He ultimately said it might be best to go a route that did not involve him doing the work. I greatly appreciate someone who is honest, particularly when it is costing him a job. I would gladly use him in the future.

Noticing that our sidewalk had shifted resulting in an uneven surface and trip hazard, I called GRANDSLAM Concrete and Curbing. Mark was very professional, personable and prompt and on Saturday, he came out. He examined our existing sidewalk, pointing out areas of weakness that needed extra reinforcement to avoid cracking and shifting. He gave us an estimate, which in our opinion, was very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done.
Mark took our concerns about someone tripping and falling seriously, and scheduled the job to commence Monday. His crew arrived on time and the old sidewalk was removed and the area was prepared for the new sidewalk. All removal was done neatly with minimal impact on the sod and landscaping.
On Tuesday, the job was moved up to earlier in the morning in anticipation of afternoon rain. The new sidewalk was poured and was covered with tarp so it wouldn't get wet. After the rain passed, the tarp was removed to reveal a very nice and safe sidewalk!
I can't recommend Mark and his company highly enough! Mark has all the qualities of a contractor that one desires but rarely encounters these days: professionalism, excellent crew, concern for the customer, integrity, promptness, care for homeowner's property, and reasonable prices. His business card goes into our and quot;will do business with only himand quot; pile and we'll spread the word to neighbors and friends who need concrete work.
