 + -1 morePer my description of events above - not well! Don't waste your time!
Description of Work: We need some reconstruction of our two fireplaces that share a common chimney. Using one of the fireplace sometimes causes smoke to enter the room of the other fireplace. I was referred to Knippel Construction by a local chimney sweep I hired. I have tried over the last 2 years to call Mr. Knippel for an appointment to confer about our problem. The first time, he never returned my call. The second time, I talked to him -- he promised to call me back and set up an appointment, but then never did. The third time (about a year later!) I called him one more time. This time I talked to him. He promised to come by the following week. He said he could tell from the outside without even visiting inside. He would call me back to consult. I have never heard from him -- and I have given up trying!

chimney caps
 + -1 moreOwner was referred by our builder to help address stains coming from a poorly designed chimney- two guys showed up late with minimal understanding of local ordinances (what they proposed would not have been permitted) and little regard to the suggested solution my builder and I thought appropriate. They tood measurements and said they'd get back to me with a quote - and never followed up. Calls were not returned.
Description of Work: No services were performed - consultation only.
