Terminix - Orlando -Termite & Pest Control

Terminix showed up after we hired them for an ant control issue. They showed up offering their free examination of the premises for other pests. We took the offer and they convinced us we had additional problems. Signed a contract (electonically). Thought better of it during the 3 day window in which to cancel. Manager told me that the work had already started and I could not cancel. Rather than fight it with a lawyer, I have paid the price but will not renew. My suggestions: 1. Get a hard copy with $$$ filled in and read EVERY word before signing anything. 2. Make sure they are not sneaking in finance charges (12%), This was my biggest complaint. Buyer beware, but there are plenty of other companies out there

I was very not impressed. They did the walk around from house to house and I got talked in to it and I was not impressed at all. The guy that came in was like nervous to be there and it was really sketchy. He wasn't sure about what he was supposed to be doing or the chemicals he was using. The guy who sold it said it was safe around my kids and birds. The guy said he didn't know if he should be spraying the chemical around the birds and kids. They need to train better on their chemicals, interoffice communication. I mean the guy didn't know what he was doing. He was supposed to be there around noon and came at 10am. I actually already paid for three months of service and I don't want them coming back, even though it's a prepaid service.

Hired the company for insect and rodent control.  The company never sprayed the home for insects even though this service was paid for and no refund ever provided.  The company attempted to eliminate the attic of rodents, but was not successful after their first attempt.  They were called multiple times to return to correct the problem and find the solution.   Two appointment times were made through the technician and no one came.  Multiple phone calls were made to the central Terminix company regarding the service paid for but without resolution of any of the problems.  Despite being informed that a manager would contact me, no manager ever called me in regard to how to remedy the situation.  No money was ever refunded even though Terminix broke the service contract as the company never provided initial service of insect spraying and no one ever returned to finish correcting the rodent problem. I will never hire Terminix again for any service.

They're exquisitely priced. They're very, very high-priced. I don't really think they do anything for the termites other than what they had done 20 years ago when the house was owned by my parents. That contract and guarantee stands but I have to pay for the full service all over again to get a similar contract with someone else. They're very responsive. They're professional. I'm trapped by the contract guarantee.

I have no complaint with the service itself... I am having a nightmare with the billing!!!... I wrote a check to pay for service to tech but received a bill anyway. After several phone calls & speaking to no less then 5 people in billing they acknowledge that they got my check but for whatever reason the payment doesn't show that the funds transferred to them. My bank on the other had shows that the check was "paid" & funds taken out of my account. But does Terminix care...NO!!! They are putting all responsibility back on me to see that they are paid. (I feel I HAVE paid them! The money's been taken out of my account!)....oh yeah, and I had to make a trip to bank to get copy of check & pay!!! to fax it to them

I would use them again.

First, let me say I had no problem with the product or the service tech. Trying to resolve a billing issue or dealing with their customer service people is a lesson in frustration!!!...After being a customer, 20+yrs, thru all the little companies being bought up, until my service with TruGreen became Terminix, I CANCELLED my service today!...My problem was I PAID for my service by check. I received a bill. They agree they had the check but don't show getting the money...huh? and I had to prove where the money went....(How would I know that?) I have spent HOURS making phone calls, being put on lengthy "holds", each time having to repeat what the problem seemed to be (I lost count at 10 CS), trips to my bank, paying to send faxes showing processed check & my bank statement with amount deducted. It hasn't cleared the problem. I've been told to "call back", "don't call back", "the problem will be researched", "we can't find the 2nd fax", etc, etc...Problems like this can't be solved locally or in person. I made a trip to what I thought was their local office on EauGallie Blvd only to be stopped at door by sign saying you had to have a pass from main office.

We have been using them since 2004. We have dogs and they are very responsible and very careful about closing the gates behind them. They always call the day before and let me know that they are going to be there so that I can keep the dogs in if I want to. They go that extra mile with my pets. I would recommend them highly. We have never had any problems. They offer different billing options and I can get a discount if I pay it in one lump sum rather than quarterly payments and that has been helpful. They are always right on time. They are very responsible and dependable.
