Good experience so far in dealing with Erik...his prices are reasonable and in one or two instances has gone above and beyond what I'd expected.

I needed drywall repair. Work completed quickly from initial call. It looks great, and they cleaned up all debris. Yes, I would hire them again.

There were many delays and the work was inconsistent. They would tell you they were going to show up and then they would not show.

I am a repeat customer of HomeAdvisor. I have not had any issues like this ever. I was in search for a Handy Man. Made contact with Semper Fixed. They did not show when they said they would and I had to contact them. They were late the day of job starting. The job consisted of putting up four white wood shelves with brackets, take out wall A/C in shed and replace with smaller A/C. It took them two and a half hours for shelving, which I thought was excessive. They took A/C out of wall and I told them they could have it they wanted it. They took it. At 5:20pm they said they had to leave to pick up room mate because car broke down. Ok no problem I understand. They said they forgot. They returned at 6:45pm. Erik stayed and Aaron left. Around 7;30pm Erik said he had to go home to get tools needed and would be back. At 9pm I called to see what was going on and no answer. Finally, at 9:18 Aaron called and said Erik is on his way back. I said its late, is the job getting completed? Aaron said yes. Erik arrived with an electric saw, horse's and other tools. I then heard sawing, cutting and Erik asked for A/C booklet. The A/C is for window which is not a problem. I showed him the already cut wood my husband had for the job. I then asked if he knew what to do, He seemed at a loss. A lot of cutting and noise was going on. I was getting concerned about my neighbors. Erik seemed to be having difficulty. He said it needed a sill to sit the A/C on. I repeated that my husband already had the wood cut for size. At 11:30pm Erik said he would be finished soon. He used his own material. At 12:50am he said he was finished. I looked on the outside of A/C and I could see there were open slits on either side of A/C where water could get in. He then cut some other pieces of wood and put in. He was finished at 1:15am. I paid him and I was not at all happy. The next morning I could see cracks with light coming through. I finally decided to leave Semper Fixed a message on Wednesday at 5:50pm and asked for them to call. Did not receive a call back. When my husband came home and checked it out he could not believe the mess. Some of the screws did not meet the wood, and Erik used garbage wood. A friend of ours was going to be in the area on Saturday that does carpentry and stopped by. It took he and my husband an hour to undo the mess. The A/C was not in correctly and most likely would have fallen out because the screws used did not meet the wood. It took them an hour to repair and they used the wood that was originally cut for window. The job is now completed correctly. I should have taken before and after pictures. I am just disappointed. Reading the reviews I thought I was making a wise choice.

Took 3 days for 15.5feet of backsplash to be installed thenfound that electrical outlets on one wall do not work after project completed but prior to installing tile backsplash had no electrical problems in my kitchen

It was an honor to hire a veteran who was polite and trustworthy. He did a great job installing two lights and a cabinet.

He fixed a broken pocket door that 2 previous men had tried to fix and left me in a mess.Eric came right over and reinstalled the door then came back to fix the molding.
