I originally got a quote from another highly recommended (on Angies List) heating and A/C company but they didn't do hot water tanks. Because the hot water tank was my main concern and due to the fact that they are all in the same closet, I wanted everything replaced at once. I contacted Miranda and the gentleman, one of the owners of the company, came out and looked at the situation. He made some recommendations regarding the closet where the units were housed and he gave us a quote. It was much higher than I expected based on the previous quote - but this included the hot water tank, work to fix up the closet and replace the stand (a rickety piece of wood) holding the heating and a/c unit that is above the water heater. In the end, we thought the more complete work would be worth the extra money.
We scheduled the appointment for the replacement in the same week. The work was done quickly with very little inconvenience to us and the folks doing the work were fast and cleaned up after themselves very well. I am completely satisfied with the work performed and believe I made the right choice in having the work done by Miranda.
So we are stuck with two holes in our walls, Miranda has our parts for the tubs. In my opinion stay away from this company.
They clean up after themselves how awesome us that!
We have used their plumbing and found that it is very, very, expensive and will never use them again.
Their electrical is also extremely expensive and I will not use them.
"We are sorry you did not contact us to let us know of the dissatifaction with your call. We would of have been happy to explain to you and would have been happy to help you resolve the matter. You have been a long time customer of ours and we value your relationship. The actual cost of the repair was $344 after coupon discounts (not including emergency service call). The main hot water line was split underneath your manufactured home between moisture barrier and floor. Crawling underneath your home our plumber cut and drained trapped water and repaired line. Total time for service call was approximately 1 hour."
These folks are very professional both in the quality of work and the way they treat their customers. Seems like a well run business. I feel confident that I received an excellent value with respect to the services performed. Thank you Miranda Air Staff!
"Thank you for your awesome comment. Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you and appreciate you calling us. We look forward to serving you in the future for any of your plumbing, air conditioning or electrical needs you may have."
"After reviewing your account I do see that we did service your air conditioning needs from 1992-August 6th 2003. In 1992 we installed a new package unit for you. After your install we did perform routine preventive maintenance 2 times per year with no documented until 2/18/2003 11 year after system was installed. On that visit we did replace 2 parts Thermostat and capacitor and added Freon, on that visit we also noted system was corroding (this is normal on a system over 11 years old). The visit 6 months later 8/6/2003 noted Freon leak in corroded condenser coil again what we would expect to happen on a unit 11 ½ year old. Like most company’s out there we would not be doing our job if we didn’t tell all of our client’s problems we see and or potential issues."
"Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you and for the great review. Also, congratulations for joining our club family by enrolling in our Home Comfort Pack service agreement. You hace made a wise investment and we know you will be happy that you did."
"Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you and the great review you gave us. Please do not hestitate to call again when you are in need of any other plumbing service as well as air conditioning or electrical service too."
