Excellent! Dr. Kelly has been our vet since 2000. We had three cats and he took care of all of them. Two lived for 18 years. He is always willing and available to consult and calls a spade a spade. Lots of personal experience with his own animals makes him compassionate and reasonable with solutions to pet issues. We love Dr. Kelly.

They do a full line of service. They have good, quality vets. It all depends on how long the wait is. We have used them for grooming and will use them for boarding in the future.

Horrible ! The Doc is a nice guy. But those girl for the lack of better words at the front. They don't like you then forget it. They are nasty they will even go to the extreme of not letting get your pet medicine. They have no love for animals they are just a bunch of yapping old ladies.

We LOVE Dr Kelly!  We moved here in Sept 2014 with the lab mix above.  I initially used another local veterinarian, but became frustrated at the wait times at that office.  A neighbor suggested Dr. Kelly.  We adopted a cat from local Humane Society, Dr. Kelly checked him out, and we had him de-clawed.  Our cat recovered without any problem under Dr. Kelly's care.  Dr Kelly was very thorough in his exam, gave explicit instructions, and willingly spent the time to answer any and all questions.
We then adopted a boxer mix (Sam) from Coastal Boxer Rescue, our contact there said she has been taking her pets to Dr. Kelly since he opened his practice.  Our boxer boy had sufferred a foreleg fracture before getting rescued, and he was on a complicated regimen of medications and injections.  We took all this to Dr Kelly, with our boisterous Sam, roughly 50 lbs.  Not wanting to pick up a large dog, Dr. Kelly sat cross-legged on the floor, and Sam went right over and threw himself into Dr Kelly's lap, paws in the air (what a goof!)  Dr Kelly took it in stride.   Sam's leg fracture had healed quite well, Dr. Kelly did not believe he needed all that medication (steroid injections, pain medication, and an anti-inflammatory.  We stopped those medications, and started Sam on Dasuquin a non-prescription chewable tab.  Now, 6 months later Sam is doing great, no limping or favoring the leg, he goes for 1/2 mile walks without a problem.
We were so impressed with Dasuquin we added it to our 12 yr old's labs regimen as well (she damaged both knees walking up and down the icy stairs of our former home in PA).  Our lab was already taking Rimadyl, and it did help her joint pain.  Adding the Dasuquin made her more spry, she clearly enjoys walks now, she goes further without limping, sometimes she even runs in the back yard!
Dr. Kelly takes care of all three of our pets, the lab has had her teeth cleaned, she came home in 3 hours, and was perfectly fine!  No grogginess, no lack of coordination.  She was very happy.

The Dr did not remember that the diagnosis that he had been treating our dog or our dog,s age.
Response from Kelly's Animal Hospital
"The dog in question had been ill for some time. We require a doctor consult before we agree to euthanizing a pet. Euthanasia is a 2 way decision. The owner may request it, I have to agree that it is justifiable. During the exam, I asked what was their dog doing now that brought them to the decision to euthanize. They explained she was vomiting, had diarrhea, was inappetant and incontinent. I agreed that she no longer had quality of life and the decision to euthanize was a correct one. The fact that we insist on a medical exam and consult prior to a euthanasia and ask questions pertaining to the dog's presenting complaints does not mean we don't know what the dog's prior history is. The comment from our ex client is unfair and untrue."

On one visit he prescribed a flea prevention medication for my dog which is not supposed to be given to dogs with a heart condition. My dog is a rescue and has supra ventricular tachycardia and a dilated cardiomyopathy as a result of having heartworm. Dr Kelly was aware of this when he sold me the medication. His staff put the prescription label over the directions, luckily I pulled it off the read the directions before I gave it to my dog. I will say that at least he let me return the medication.
Response from Kelly's Animal Hospital
"(Removed members name) is incorrect on her statement. I did not sell her flea prevention that was contra indicated for her dog's heart condition. She came in and purchased Certifect from us for flea control. She implied that I sold her the product knowing her dog's condition. I was not involved in the transaction at all, but the staff did nothing inappropriate in selling her the flea prevention. The warning label label says : Do not use on sick (e.g. systemic diseases, diabetes, fever) or convalescent animals. There is absolutely nothing on the label that says do not use on dogs with a history of heart issues. She read into the label something that was not there. This review was also written a year after we last saw her dog as a patient. Neither of those pertained to the dog in question. (Removed members name) left us because we would not sell her heartworm prevention until her dog was tested for heartworm which was due in a couple of months. She wanted us to bend the rules because she is a physician. The staff implemented policy which I instituted and is meant for quality control and our patients well being"

We got there for our appointment.
Everything was clean and the staff was very professional and quite thorough.
After all the information was verified we went in with the tech to go over the history and the reason for our visit.
When the doctor came in she was very kind and obviously cares for the animals she treats.
She was informative about the changes the new area will have on our pets and took the time to go over things.
We did not feel rushed and were very happy with the entire experience.

The people at Dr. Kellys were very professional.  They took great care of the cats.  I was concerned because we liked the former vet we used before we moved but I think that Dr. Kelly's is even better!  This vet maintains a website that, as a patient, you get access to and, although I have not taken advantage of it yet, I think is a great service by this clinic.  I highly recommend Dr. Kelly.  He made us feel right at home and confident in his ability with animals.

We have found Kelly's to be an outstanding vet service for our two dogs. The staff is friendly and helpful, techs are clearly well trained and love animals. Everyone shows patience and understanding and make us and the dogs feel right at home. Dr Kelly is a very detailed compassionate and passionate Doc. He not only provides excellent care for the animals, but also for the owners by fully explaining all aspects of his examination and any treatments recommended. Additionally, he provides excellent and helpful information on topics of preventive care and nutrition for the dogs as well.
We could not ask for a better place to entrust with the care of our two best friends. Have 100% confidence in the folks at Kelly's.

After a brief wait, exam was thorough and quick.  Dog was treated very well by both vet and assistants.  This office also lets you know when and why you need to return for follow-up visit.  Staff is friendly and attentive.  Vet is terrific!
