House Master Home Inspections

This was the second time within the month that we used John Macvean of Housemaster and were extremely satisfied with the quality of the work performed and John's professionalism. John took the time during each inspection to discuss his findings as he noted them often asking if we had any questions. The overall price of the inspection is determined by a number of factors including whether you add a termite inspection and wind mitigation report, etc. Since we used John twice within one month, I highly recommend him.

When I purchased my house I had them do an inspection and they over looked a lot of stuff that they should have inspected.  The toilet seat was not sealed and I had to get the cabinets replaced. The home inspectors should have picked that out. We also discovered surface moles.  The said the house was 95% ready and it was not true.   I would not recommend them because they did not do their job.  Even the paint on the wall they said was of good quality and it was not.

We closed on this house in 2010. He did the home inspection, just before we closed. He did a fantastic job. He went through everything. The sellers were shocked.  He inspected the beams, the roof, the whole nine yards. He was expensive, but he was worth it.
