FINISHED TOUCH

The carpentry work was very good.  I did all of the prep work, removed old tile, primed and painted all walls and wood work. The Finished Touch did the installation of the walls that had been removed.  The bathroom wall at the end of the shower stall was not flat.  When the subway tiles were being installed they did not lay flat.  While installing the new faucet on the new sink he scratched the top of the faucet and tried to blame me.  He grouted the pebble flooring and the tile shower with non-sanded grout and said it did not need to be sealed.  The pebble flooring on the shower floor is rippled & the water does not drain and stands in puddles.  When asked to return to fix the problem the contractor said he would come over and "cut a canal to the drain".  He had to return to fix/replace the bathroom sink drain four times.  While installing the crown molding in the master bedroom he droped a tool that hit the newly painted (by me) wall and I had to repair and repaint.  When I noticed a add in a local magizine for my contractor that was offering a 5 year warranty I again called him and asked him to fix the non draining shower floor, he just laughed.
This contractor is arrogant and surley.  I wish I'd known about Angies list before I hired "The Finished Touch".
