Discovery Home Inspection

He was great. Prompt, thorough and worth the cost. He took time to ensure I understood what needed attention. The report he sent was detailed with pictures. He spent several hours at the home. He checked just about anything you could think of. I also had Radon Air and Water Tested. I was very pleased with the job he did.

It was such a great experience. Bill was on time and did an excellent job walking me and my husband through all of the areas of the home (1st time purchasing a single family home). He didn't miss a thing and took the time to explain everything and answer all our questions. He took a number of pictures and then outlined anything that was a cause for concern in his follow up report. I would certainly use him again and highly recommend him to friends and family.

He was there before scheduled time and already started work. Very knowledgable about all aspects of home construction even an older home like this one (built in 1860). explained all items in detail as we were going thru them. When something was found asked if what we found was a game stopper for me. Report was complete with pictures that you could actually se details with full explinations. He did not rush and was patient with all my questions. This was n pleasurable experience, glad I chose him.

Bill was very through with the inspection, spent 2.5 hours checking everything from the landscaping, exterior of the house and all areas of the inside of the house. As he inspected the different areas of the house he would take the time to point out the problems and explain in detail why they were problems and what would be needed to correct them. Very knowledgeable around current building codes. Explained to me the things that needed to be changed, should be changed, and would be nice to be changed. And the complete report was sent to me the next morning which helped me to plan a budget for the money that would be required to do the renovations. After all the horror stories I've heard with others home inspections Bill and Discovery Home Inspections exceeded all of my expectations!

Bill V. at Discovery Home Inspection was awesome to say the least! We chose him based on his good Yelp reviews; we were not disappointed. My spouse and I both agreed that it was so refreshing to encounter someone so good at his job. He showed up on time and was well equipped. He was knowledgeable, courteous, thorough. He took his time during the inspection and explained everything to us along the way. He took pictures and sent us a very detailed report with red arrows pointing to areas on the pictures. We have spoken to him several times since the inspection regarding questions we had and referrals that he could provide. He has been extremely accommodating and willing to help us in our home buying process. We were thrilled with his work and would highly recommend him to anyone needing a home inspector.

Bill Vicaire, the owner of Discovery Home Inspection, showed up on time and did a very thorough inspection of the condo I was purchasing. He not only examines everything, but explains what he finds in easy to understand terms. He even showed me how to change the filters for the heating system. During his inspection he takes photos of the things that he finds and includes the photos in a nice report that he provides after the inspection. I have hired Bill for 2 home inspections and he is the only home inspector that I would consider hiring. I felt confident going forward with the purchase. He does a fantastic job!
