In November of 2014 after a disastrous experience involving numerous delays and other frustrations with an installer recommended by a neighbor we ended up cutting ties with that installer and were left with the materials we had ordered and paid for per his instructions sitting in our home.
Another neighbor who had used "Chicago Wood Floor & Design' recommended them to us assuring us that any call we made or message we left would be responded to within 24 hours. Sure enough after leaving a message Brian called back the next day. We explained our situation and in spite of the fact that we had not purchased any materials through him Brian arranged an appointment and arrived on time as arranged. He checked the laminate wood planks and tile we had and after reviewing our original plans (which had included laying tile over tile in a larger area) we revised out plans as advised by Brian, which meant we would need additional wood laminate and would have to return some tile to Home Depot. Within the next day or two we received an estimate from Brian for the installation including labor, moving furniture, carpet removal, etc., which was actually less than the original installer had quoted and also meant that even with the additional material needed, and returns, our total cost would also be less. Brian had told us how long the installation would take, what we would need to do to prepare, packing breakables away, etc., where they would start and so on.
Brian and his team turned up promptly on the first day of the installation and continued to do so every further day until it was completed, about 4 - 5 days. They were professional, courteous and efficient, we suffered no inconvenience other than what one would expect, they cleaned up each night and the whole experience was easy on us and the results are superb, we are thrilled and very impressed
We would absolutely recommend Brian and his company to any one, based on our experience he deserves the highest accolades
