Icon Restoration

A tree fell over my house and went
through ceiling in my daughters room, hallway and kitchen etc. Not
knowing what to do, I was referred to 1800 Boardup and they came over
right away and started to remove the tree. Very good job. What I was
unaware of is that right after the clean-up, I needed someone to fix
the place up. My insurance told me that I can use anyone. So the Icon
man Frank was standing right there next to the boardup people and I
went with him since I had a huge whole spread all over the house.
Icon started up soon, In the beginning all went well in the planning
phase. They send over a contractor (Wes) and he was supposed to take
care of things. From there everything went a bit down hill. He said
he would come by, but didn't show, or I was told that a certain job
they were performing was the right way and I felt that things went
not too well. The new roof was put on the house ---the driveway was
ruined during this process from (heavy trucks used and never fixed).
Ceiling fixed ( still see the stains) wall painted (charged for 2
coats , received one bad coat and paint spots all over carpet,
grandfather clock aso  plus was told that the paint looked
bad???) Window screen was supposed to be fixed, but taken away since
they didn't have the right one, and never returned aso. List goes on.
Another issue I had was that after the new roof was put on -all over
the house- when it rained, a huge mass of water came rushing down
right into the window of the sun room. When I tried to talk about some
of the issues, I was rudely told that it is normal.e. The taken away

normal. I pushed the leaf guard up a bit and less water came down,
but the issue was not resolved. Then, several month later, my the
floor in the sun room gave a way and tons of rotting wood etc was
discovered. The whole side of the sun room where the rain had purred
is damaged. So I called ICON again and he came by and agreed to fix
the sun room if we fix the roof??? So we agreed, but then he kept
sending his roof people over and they searched for reasons to blame
us. We didn't put the roof up, so how could it be our fault? I had
roofers come by and they took pictures and they said that the roof
was put up faulty where the beak of the roof meet. To make the story
short, we received an e-mail telling us that it is all our fault and
we need to fix it ourself and we never heart back. No answer. So I
wrote to Franks boss, but same thing. They just never wrote back.
This is what is so rude. No explanation. Nothing. Still have a sun
room with rotted out wall and floor. My husband was deployed during
both times. If he would have been home, it might have been different.
Then again. Most likely not.
