Artesan Remodeling Co

The work didn't turn out so well. We parted ways after discussing. He seemed very professional, and seemed to have a good understanding of the objective. He had a guy come over and start the work as scheduled. The guy came and started the job, but then left and never came back. I called them 2 weeks later and asked him where the guy was. He told me that the guy would be there that afternoon. The guy came at 2:30 or 3:00, and their days end at 4:00. They had to clean up and leave after an hour and a half. The guy didn't look to happy. I found out that he was pulled off of another job to come out because I had called. His set up takes about 1/2 an hour. This happened about 5 times. The workmanship started out very good, and then it got worse and worse. When I pointed that out, the owner got extremely upset with me. He told me that I had way too much time on my hands and that I need to find something to do with my time, rather than look over my shoulder. When he came out and looked at the work he just shrugged his shoulders. I asked him to re-do a piece of the work, and that was bad too. It was a multi-phase project, so we just closed out that part of the project and parted ways. The final work wasn't great, but it was fine. We just let him charge us what he wanted for this phase and we paid it, because we didn't want any problems.
