We are very please with the concrete patio that they put in for us. They were all very professional, showed up on time, and went right to work. They were done within a matter of a few hours. I am revising my review from 5/12/2020. Although their initial slab work and patio was done to my satisfaction. Mr. Rostels finishing work leaves something to be desired. The main patio was supposed to be acid stained, but he attempted to use a solvent-based paint which totally messed up a section of our patio. The next day he came with acid stain but as he was neutralizing the stain he was walking on it leaving boot marks which he had to try to hand rub out. We had also asked for a Kool deck on the patio where our new spa will be going. We got white cement. This may be okay. But I still have to smooth and paint it.

We were looking forward to the first rain to see if we may have ended up with puddles; guess what...not a one! Pete Rostel is a stand-up guy, delivering on what he promised, right on time. The crew that came with him was competent and savvy. Highly recommended! As he was working on our residential driveway, two people from the neighborhood drove by and asked for his card. Great company, honest, reliable, courteous, and prompt.

Pete listened to my ideas and concerns and was on the job site the whole time. Everyone of his team was professional and courteous . Surprises found during demo were just handled. His crew were terrific and barely even took a break. He wasn t the lowest estimate but had covered everything and there were no billing surprises. The dimensions of the project were wrong, they were staked out, and the professional removed the stakes, and He said to me word for word "I thought that was where you wanted it" and I said "Who told you that's where I wanted it, after he had installed the cement 2ft closer to the house, then he replied "I don't know." Don't hire him, and don't pay cash because you have no recourse. He also had the length of it 3 ft shorter.

Pete and his crew have done multiple projects for us ranging from excavating, grading, concrete placement and finishing and demolition. We are thrilled with his and his team's work. They are efficient, honest, courteous and always do a great job.

Business owner is Pete Rostel; he's friendly, very easy to talk to, and very efficient. He came out quickly to evaluate our driveway - a 12 ft x 8 ft section had cracked and was sunken about 2 - 3 inches. We agreed on a price and he came to repair it a couple weeks later. He showed up shortly after 7:00 am with 3 men the morning he did the job, and was finished before 9:30 am. They first used a saw to separate the affected area from the rest of the driveway cleanly. Unfortunately, a piece cracked off the good portion of the driveway, so, rather than have an ugly ( and probably weak ) patch, Pete immediately cut a new, foot wide swath across the driveway to combine the damaged concrete into the repair portion. They used a Bobcat to first drill the broken slab into pieces which could be handled; then the men used the Bobcat's bucket attachment to haul the broken concrete to the dump truck for removal. Once the area was cleaned, we could find no obvious cause in the ground for the concrete to have cracked, so he used a soil compactor to firm up the base. After a pause to allow for delivery of 2 yards of concrete, they finished up the work. I especially liked that Pete treated our property as if it were his own. Our lawn looks as good now as before he arrived, since he made sure to place plywood next to the job so the Bobcat's tracks wouldn't chew up everything.

Restorations by Rostel to the rescue. We had some concrete work done by another company. It was horrible. Other company splattered concrete as high as the eves, destroyed the porch screens and cedar siding with splatter. What a mess. Wife was distraught. So I called Restorations by Rostel to redo the 50' sidewalk and front door pad. Wow, what a difference. Restorations by Rostel knew what they were doing and did the job right. They were super fast, clean, and efficient. Each of the workers knew their respective job. There was never a time when the boss would have to get on to them to do this or that. Workers were not lazy, they did not walk around in circles talking on phones as others did the work. In short, they knew what needed to be done and did it. Other companies we called told us it would take 2 days or more to remove old concrete and wanted to charge us twice the price. Restorations by Rostel had the old concrete out, hauled away, job site clean, new sidewalk and pad framed up, and even had time to take an hour break(due to waiting on mix), all this before 9am on the 1st day. The new concrete looks amazing!!! Water flows right off. And the wife is happy. Whew. This company is very good, workers are friendly, and they did not mind putting us at ease with our numerous questions. If I could give them a higher rating than 5 stars I would as they deserve it. After the initial estimate, we had an opportunity at our consultation to address or needs and wishes for the driveway so that the contractor knew exactly what we wanted. He was also very courteous and informed us of the possible additional costs in the event that additional machinery and labor may be required to clear away a tree root before pouring the concrete. As it turns out, that was not needed; however, if was a great surprise to have that information beforehand. Now we are enjoying our beautiful double driveway, where an unwanted palm tree and brush was also removed and was included in the total price. Great Job by Rostel and would gladly do business again with them in the future and without hesitation!
