No to Quality Docks!! I gave them a deposit in June of 2023 and was told the job would be completed in 60-90 days once they received the permit from Pasco County. On October 11h of 2023 I was told by this company that they still did not receive the permit from Pasco County so, I took it upon myself to call Pasco County to see what the issue was. I was informed by a clerk the permit was ready on July 25, 2023. I let the company know the permit was ready. With that, they finally started work setting the poles February 16, 2024- eight months after I hired them. The lift was 95% finished on March 15, 2024, and I made a final payment as well as giving them a deposit to install a new ramp and floating dock. Here we are now July of 2024, and they still have not completed either job! When I would call, I was told next week each time. Now, they no longer answer my calls And here it is over a year later and the boat lift is still not done! What was done was many mistakes like the poles on the aft side 2’ off so Coastline Covers-who discovered the poles being off by 2’ and needed to be moved-- cannot install the cover. The company said they came back moved the poles, but the cover company said they were still off by 2’. Finally, they removed the pole and redrilled the hole in the correct spot. The cover company then came back to install for a second time but at a cost of an additional $1,000.00! Now it sits unusable in need of a new motor because it is NO GOOD OUT OF THE BOX! They still have not installed the two additional bunks for our Trifoon yet they always showed up looking for payment when it was just about done at each stage to stay ahead of me money wise! (my fault for paying) Sucks to be screwed this many times from one company Tom-Hudson Florida

Contracted Quality Docks to have a dock extended. Quality Docks had no problem responding to me, when requesting payments. I should have realize this was a company that may not be around at the end of the project, when they told me they needed the payment to meet payroll. Now that their "quality" work is falling apart, they do not return calls or texts. They have made multiple promises to come out to fix the issues, but after almost 6 months have yet to return and correct their mistakes.

The job went great! I am totally satisfied! I would definitely recommend Quality Dock to everyone!

Quality docks is a scam and nothing but lies. They came out and measured everything and gave an estimate. They required a deposit before I would be put on the list and had a waiting period of 8 to 10 weeks. So in August I gave them a $4,600 deposit.
I was told they would be there in 8 to 10 weeks. At 8 weeks I called and was told they were around the corner at one of my neighbors and they would be there in 1 1/2 weeks. They were not. They were in another county. Every week I called and they would give me another lie as to why they were not there yet. This turned into over 4 months of frustration and worry that they had stolen my deposit.
Finally on December 8th they informed me that they would be bringing the barge to my house and I would need to meet them at the neighborhood boat ramp to unlock it. Which they had told me earlier they had a key and didn't need a key. I ended up having to take the whole day off of work to help their incapable people get the barge to my house. After a whole day of getting the barge and pilings to my house they called me the next day and told me they would have to back out of the job and were unable to do it because the water was to deep for them. After having my money for over four months and taking me out of the market for over four months. All I got was attitude like I did something wrong. They did give me my deposit back, but if they had been honest up front and told me they couldn't do the job I could have hired someone else and I would have a dock and boat lift. Instead i am still waiting and still paying storage fees. Which the owner, David, told me he didn't care what he had cost  me. All he wanted to know was whether I wanted him to leave the permit open or not so he could charge me for it. I have never been lied to more than this and he was very arrogant. I have nothing bad bad things to say about Quality Docks and am passing along my storry and bad experience to all of my neighbors. They definitely do not live up to their name.

The work was done when promised and the estimate was not changed. They did a good job and I would recommend to anyone looking for work to be done on their dock(s).
