Steve absolutely knows his profession inside and out, and can identify a potential red flag in underwriting before it even gets to the underwriter and advise on how to proceed and attach documentation that will pass underwriting without a problem. I can't stress how crucial this is to a smooth and timely closing.
Steve answers e-mails and phone calls with lightning speed, and no question is too dumb or small for Steve to personally answer in an easy to understand and professional manner. This type of communication with your broker is mandatory if you want to close on time.
Steve will overestimate your GFE (and tell you so) so that there are no unpleasant surprises at closing...because your closing costs will in all likelihood be lower than the worst case scenario that he estimated...probably much lower.
There might well be other brokers with service equal to Steve's, but why shop around when you've found one with honestly deserved AAA+ reviews from his customers? (Check his Zillow standing and reviews also)
If you read this review and don't at least call Steve to go over your options, you are doing yourself a disservice. Good mortgage brokers are not easy to find, give him a chance to earn your business. I will be doing business with him in the future when the need arises.
