The cleaning was fantastic. The problem was we had an appointment scheduled and she called the morning of saying she had to go somewhere else first. They ended up arriving around 4 p.m. when we were originally scheduled for 10 a.m. Maria left during the cleaning to go pick up her daughter and left her employee working. Once the worker was done she insisted on waiting outside and had to wait about 45 minutes for Maria to pick her back up. I had no complaints about the quality of the service.

Maria was personable and professional. She aimed to please. Despite the dirty condition of our house and the fact that she worked alone, after four hours she was able to make a significant improvement in the cleanliness of the house. My wife and I were impressed enough to hire her to clean our house on a routine basis.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It wasn't really good. It wasn't detailed. There were the baseboards and stuff like that that they were supposed to do but they didn't touch them. There was a whole piece of furniture and most things that were undusted. There were no extra charges. I paid in November and they came in July.

We hired Maria's Cleaning Services several months ago because we are also a business member of Angie's List, and when in need of a service, and whenever possible, we like to patronize Angie's List companies.
There is no way to express how pleased we are with the job Maria and Carlos do cleaning our office. Both Maria and Carlos are thorough, polite, and do an excellent job. Even on occasion, when Maria and Carlos have not been able to come themselves and have sent an employee, we have not been disappointed with the service provided as the employee(s) has/have been as detailed as them. Additionally, before she leaves, Maria always asks if we are pleased and if there is anything else we want her to do. We would definitely recommend Maria's Cleaning Service to anyone that wants an excellent job done professionally and efficiently.

Job was done very well. Only concern was that the service was originally scheduled on Monday but wasn't completed until Wednesday night. Service was rescheduled a couple of times and they were late but were good about communicating constantly about where they were and when they planned on being there/being done.

Let me first start off with Maria ( at all time's referring to MARIA'S CLEANING SERVICES) arrived late for her appointment to give me an estimate. It was on Saturday, January 26th and she says she has 5 kids. Okay, I can understand the issue with 5 kids and trying to get somewhere on time. I accepted her fee of $150.00 for a 'deep down' first time cleaning and agreed that she would clean my home on February 6 2013. On Feburary 6th Maria was late. She got lost. I again made allowances for that, being that she had only been to my home 1 time. Maria and Danielle did a wonderful job cleaning-4 hours and the house looked and smelled great! They were both friendly yet professional. The last time she was at my home was March 7 2013. She arrived between 10:00-10:30 alone to clean. I had told her that I had an appointment at 1:00 pm and would have to leave around 12:30. She said she would be done. During this time her phone rang several times, delaying her. She eventually had two other girls come to help her (they cleaned our small master bathroom). Maria's next scheduled cleaning was to have been on Thursday the 21st of March. I called Maria on Wednesday the 20th to confirm the time she would be at my home. I never heard back from her. I called again on Thursday @ 9:05 am and left a voicemail. She called Thursday evening (about 9pm) and left me a voicemail stating that she called me on Wednesday-which she did not. No missed calls on my cell phone-no voice messages. Maria called around 9pm or so on Thursday the 21st and said that she could clean on Friday. Fine. I called and left a voice message @ 9:00 am and texted on Friday morning @ 9:05 am inquiring as to when Maria would be arriving. she replied that she wouldn't be able to come until 3:30 or 4:30 Friday afternoon! Seriously? That time frame was unacceptable for me.
She then said maybe she could be here by 4 and be done by 6 pm. That's just too late. Especially with someone with 5 kids! We finally agreed that she would clean my home on Tuesday March 26th (today) and she would arrive @ 1:00 pm. Well, it's almost 4:00 pm on Tuesday afternoon and... nothing. SHE HASN'T CALLED ME. SHE HASN'T CALLED MY HUSBAND. SHE HASN'T SHOWN UP.
I have had my house cleaned for several years and every one of them has carried a calendar with them to schedule their clients. Not Maria's Cleaning! My home isn't filthy dirty, and we keep everything pretty well picked up. I guess she made a quick couple hundred and just isn't interested anymore. Needless to say, I will not have MARIA'S CLEANING SERVICES clean my home and I am no longer needing MARIA'S CLEANING SERVICES. I'll find another company and hope they have a calendar, can tell time and know how important a GOOD REVIEW IS!
3/27/2013: I also wanted to add that Maria uses her cell phone as a convenient excuse (It got left on top the car; it got dropped....)
In reviewing other recent posts regarding Maria's Cleaning Services, and her responses, specifically "No one is perfect"
I don't feel that she or the company is worthy of being on Angie's List.

In response to Maria's Cleaning Service: Maria, you make it sound like my home was some sort of h*** hole; I can assure you, it is not. With one cat (long hair) and a brand new puppy, there is bound to be some pet hair lying around. I agreed to your price for the initial clean ( I had a coupon from Angie's List, which you honored). I did inquire at the time of your initial estimate if you could come down in price. At no other time did I continue asking for a discount for your services. I accepted the price of $85.00 you quoted and paid. My biggest problem was the fact that you never called to let me know you didn't want to clean. You said via text message (that I still have from 3/22/2013) that "I will see you on Tuesday @ 1:00 pm and thank you" LYING about customers is NEVER a good business plan. Potential customers BEWARE! One bad review...maybe. But more than that? Not good for business~
She then said maybe she could be here by 4 and be done by 6 pm. That's just too late. Especially with someone with 5 kids! "well i been reading these comments AND I CAN NOT AGREE WITH YOU...., besides i did give you a very HIGH discount for your first deep cleaning and basic cleaning. I know my work and i was going to maintain the home clean after the first visit ....BUT knowing that your property was very dirty and had a lot of pets hair or cats hair all over more than the average situations and not been maintain cleaning wise at all I TOOK THE RISK. But after my A quality job as your self did reviewed like my other customers do because im the proffesional in this business. THAN (Member name removed)...you wanted me to do more for less and kept asking me for a discount even told me to do your home for $60.00 stead for the next visit .there is no way to do your home for that kind of money, and yes it was not worth for me and my company to add you to my calendar as my client . and i do understand how important are reviews i know what im doing and also if im a mother or not this has nothing to do with these business situation. good luck finding your next cleaning provider and yes MARIA'S CLEANING is worth it tobe here and for long time. thank you very much"

They're very nice. The problem was scheduling. She's scheduled it so far in advance and I thought she was gonna be coming to do it but then she had something else she had to do. The work was okay.

My wife and I just purchased a new home in Pasco County and we needed a move in cleaning service, mostly for dusting wiping down cabinets and general areas. My wife is six months pregnant and unable to assist with most of the moving activities which left me very busy. The cleaners did arrive promptly and the price was very affordable. However, there was a huge language barrier because neither of the cleaners spoke or understood English very well, so my wife had to demonstrate what we needed done. After we had to request them to redo several areas that they said they already cleaned because the areas were still very dusty. They were not equipped with a ladder to reach upper cabinets this left me and my wife with the job of wiping the insides and top of the upper cabinets in our kitchen. This company is not equipped for a move in or move out cleaning; I would only recommend this service if you have a tight budget and require some general house cleaning. My wife later stated she wish we would have spent the extra money and utilized another service specifically for this job.

"Customer this is Maria I spoke to you first time on Thur 03/07/13 you told me you need a house cleaning asap becouse you moving in into this house with your pregnant wife ,so I ask you if you need move in cleaning you said yes so I said I can make you an space tomorrow ut I will charge you by the hour I never aid by the job ,so you were agree to it the girls told me you don't have electricity at the time of the cleaning so they couldnt use the vacumns to get the dust and also if you know about this construccio powder is not going to go with wipe down ,an the gabinets were fill of construccion powder everywhere they said , i said we probey supplies and vacuums but we can't transport step ladders with supplies and vacuums ,sorry but you should have electricity before you hire anyone to clean to have the best results:-)"

Maria came to the house on a Friday, gave an estimate of cost and we scheduled a time for her to start the following Monday. She then arrived on time in spite of having her finger in a metal cast from an injury over the week-end but she worked continuously with her other hand. She brought her husband to work with her and they did a deep cleaning that was amazing. There was an oven with so much burned on grease that I thought it would never come out - it ended up being sparkling clean, almost like new! A bath tub had the grout and caulk from a shower door that had been removed and it turned out looking like new. They both worked non stop and even came back the following day to finish the job. They took pride in getting the house clean and did not miss anything. I was very pleased and impressed by their dedication to the job and recommend them highly.

Maria completed a deep cleaning on my house and is now cleaning on a bi-weekly basis. She is hard worker and excellent cleaner. She is very detailed and cleans as if she were cleaning her own house! I manage a commercial cleaning service for a living and she passes my inspection! She leaves the house sparkling and smelling clean. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an honest, hardworking, and professional cleaning service.

I would not recommend that lady at all. She would make a date to come and she would call the day of the date she was supposed to be here and say I’m not going to be able to make it today, like if she is supposed to be on Monday, can I come by on Wednesday? Then she called on Wednesday and postponed it again and about the third time she did that, I had enough and I said no.

"I feel sorry that you feel that way but went i went yo your house the first time to give you the estimate i remember the i have told you , I'm going .to try to give you a specify day ,but in the middle time i have said it have to be went I'm able to do it,and you said is fine any day is fine just call and let me know ,your house took s me around 4.5 hours i live you your house late that day i did a deed cleaning for just $50 dollars the first cleaning , all because i was trying to help you because your disabled person an i have alot of respect for that ,and i just were trying to help you no body do the kind of job i did for $40 dollars every two weeks two bed,two bathrooms a kitchen a livingroom and little dinning area ,i did bed for you even laundry (towels and sheets) ,count that u have alot cats at the house ,i m sorry i just try to be a good person with some one that needs it normally i charge for my service $85 dollars for my4 hour cleaning I'm a mom of 5 kids and a business owner ,I'm not a big company is just me and sometimes a lady that help me but i always guaranty a good job"

Maria's professionalism and work ethic can not be described in this report! She is such a hard worker, always asks me if the cleaning is to my specifications, always arrives when she says she will, and promptly returns my calls or texts. When I come home from work, my home smells clean and fresh (I have 2 dogs, so this is a great feat!) Every surface seems to have been touched. Maria does a much better job than I would on my own home! She also offers extra TLC, like rolling towels in the bathroom and "decorating" my couch with pillows and blankets. I have a 2000 sqft home (4 bdrm/2ba). I would highly recommend Maria's cleaning service.

Maria does an excellent job and is very accomdating if you ask her to do anything. The house is spotless when she is done. She has been cleaning for me for about 6 months now. Anyone using her would be very pleased with her work. She supplies all the cleaning supplies, even the vacuum. I would highly recommend her.

Maria has been cleaning our house for nearly a year now and her work is very professional and extremely thorough. Her first service was a complete spring cleaning (for our 2K square foot house) and she did an amazing job!Maria always works with us on what areas to focus on for each visit, and is very flexible in terms of scheduling her time.I would trust Maria to clean any house, she is honest, hard working, and a very nice person to do business with.
