Bird Painting and Sons Inc.

The painter in early June was hired by my homeowner's president to paint my front door. My door was old and rusted when we bought the house. I'm not an experienced painter by any means but I'm not an idiot either. The door was never prep. Meaning it wasn't cleaned, sanded, primed, or the rust spots repaired. My hubby just watch him slap the paint on. Several people that night commented on the the bubbles in the paint. Then I noticed it when I got home along with the drip marks on the white paint on the inside part of the door. I immediately called the painter and he was very nonchalant about the whole thing. He stated he prepped the door. I'm not going to argue but I told him he needed to come back out and fix it. Well 4 mths later and several texts and calls later, I finally got him out to fix the door. He tells me that he was only paid to paint the door, not sand it down and remove the rust. That would cost $25 an hour. So he just slapped some more paint on a spot that had already peeled off and called it a day! I would have been fine if he was honest with me from the beginning and told me, "hey, this is what I'm getting paid for but it's not going to turn out good. This is what it's going to cost to get fixed". I wouldn't have minded paying for it myself. I just wanted it done right. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

I have used MIlton Bird Painting a couple of times for interior painting. The first was in 2010 to paint 2 interior bedrooms.  In April, 2011 I used them to paint my Living Room,  Dining Room and Kitchen area.   They were very professional and reasonably priced.  They aslo worked around my schedule and painted on Saturday.
 I would recommend them and I will use them again!
