+ -1 moreMike Schill showed up and told me he can start right away. Him and his guys worked in rain and in scorching sun to meet my deadline. Other contractors came by to look and never called me back. He is the only contractor I will ever hire. No doubt a true professional!

Description of Work: When you need things done right and right away. When other contractors tell you to call them back in two weeks. When they show up and tell you they will call you back call Mike with Volusia construction. These guys worked weekends so I can meet my deadline. Super happy with their work!

+ -1 moreI needed a general contractor who could manage the job, work with subs, insurance company and adjusters according to the plan and without supervision, as I was out of town most of the time. Mike was recommended by a neighbor and what a blessing it turned out to be. The job, from start to finish was done extremely well and everything looks perfect. My wife and I could not be happier. Mike was always available to review progress and discuss details. I found him very easy to work with and I believe he saved me considerable money and heartache. I will definitely use his company for future work and recommend him highly.
Description of Work: This was a flood/mold restoration that included significant drywall repair in family room, kitchen, living room and dining room. It also included about a thousand feet of tile replacement and a complete kitchen job.

+ -1 moreI called Mike and set up an appointment for him to look over the project I had planned. The project was to reframe and replace bay windows with impact resistant glass. Mike showed up on time and was very professional and personable. He said that he would get his window person to come out and measure for the replacements and would get back to me within a week. That was March 5th and was the last I heard from him.

+ -1 moreFrom initial visit, to completion, we experienced professionalism and quality work. Our schedules were always taken into account. We got three estimates at the outset. Voluisa came in the middle of the estimates. My husband was impressed when the contractor said that he would work within the final guidelines of the insurance company. The insurance estimate was generous enough to make sure that everything was done to insure the kitchen was restored to former good condition. We would not hesitate to recommend this company, and if we ever have a similar situation, would use them again.
Description of Work: Company worked within the budget that Sate Farm insurance adjuster estimated, with addendums okayed as the walls and cabinets were removed. This was to repair water damage from a line coming in to the refrigerator that had acquired a slow leak, and then burst totally. it damaged our walls, cabinets, baseboards and insulation. Our contractor assessed the damage and subcontracted the affiliates needed to complete the job on a visual inspection. He the scheduled all the repairmen, cabinet men, and wood floor contractor.They adjusted the refrigerator in a manner that still allowed us to have use of the fridge, with icemaker also. The work was completed with a minimum of downtime. As soon as one function was complete, the next phase was already scheduled.The workers were all very professional, experienced craftsmen. They worked around our pets, with no disruption of their routines. This company is fully insured, came highly recommended by State Farm, and would only take final payment on completion of work to our satisfaction.
