Steve’s First Choice Painting is a full service paint company servicing the greater Daytona Beach, Florida area since 1995. Steve’s First Choice Painting is your partner for all of your house painting needs. We provide a complete line of professional painting services. Good preparation, including scraping, sanding and caulking, done with the right techniques are the foundation to a great residential paint job.

Steve was extremely professional in every way. He gave me a quote for my 2 bed/ 2 bath homes interior. The house is 1080 square feet and he was very competitive with other bids that I had. I chose Steve because I quickly realized that he is a trustworthy local businessman who has been around for a long time. When giving me the initial quote, he was very thorough and went through all the steps with my wife and I. He told us it would be 2-3 days and what paint he suggested using. Well, He started on Monday with 2 guys and then 3 on Tuesday. He sent one painter in on Wednesday who finished up the trim work by noon. All of his employees were honest and they all did a great job. The ceilings were cut in perfectly all around. I added two exterior doors to the work load and he offered a very fair price and they came out perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him (I've already told the neighborhood) and I will use him again.

Steve and his team of Troy and one other assistant painted our single-story 2100 sf home. We have concrete block and brick exterior (columns and shutter trim), a metal garage and brick chimney—so it was quite a job. Overall, Steve and his team were very professional, did the job in three days, and the house looks amazing. They were priced the highest of three quotes, but I feel did a great job of pressure washing the house clean first, used a special primer to ensure adhesion, and better quality paint. Only minor overspray near the ground but that was acceptable. Overall, they kept the job site very tidy. The only issue was the paint on our front door (that was painted by the assistant) peeled off due to contact with weatherstripping inside the jamb. Steve had Troy come back, sand it smooth and repaint it (the weatherstripping was removed). Very pleased that Steve took care of this and I believe he cares about quality. Would definitely recommend Steve's First Choice Painting.

I just moved into my brand new townhouse and wanted my interior painted. Steve was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to selecting paint type and colors. I’m extremely happy with how this turned out. Andy and Troy were also very professional and thorough. Troy went above and beyond and helped me hang my ceiling fans which I know was a tedious task. I’ll definitely call them again for my next project!

When Steve can to our house to give us an estimate, we knew we were in the hands of a real professional. His estimate was reasonable and he followed through in every way to make sure we were satisfied. His employee Troy was first rate in our opinion. We couldn't be more pleased with a job very well done.

I found Steve’s First Choice Painting on Angie’s List and called them for a free estimate. Steve came out to my home, discussed the work to be done, and quoted me a fair price for painting the house. Several days before the house was to be painted, Steve and his crew dropped by to check over the house and make sure everything was ready to be painted. Any questions I had were answered in a courteous and professional manner. On the day the house was to be painted, Troy and Trevor showed up on time and set up their gear to paint the house. They worked steadily and were able to finish the house in a bit less time than was estimated (two days). Steve dropped by at regular intervals to check up on things and to make sure I was satisfied with the job his crew was doing. My house has a rough stucco finish and two coats of satin paint was rolled across the entire house, except for the garage door which was sprayed. When the job was finished, I looked over their work and everything look great. The paint was applied consistently and there was no bleed through of the original darker color of the house. When they were finished, the crew packed up their equipment and left everything the way they found it. Overall, everything went smoothly and I would recommend Steve’s First Choice Painting to anyone who wants to paint their house. Their prices are fair and their work is first class.

We decided to go with Steve because his estimate/cost was quite a bit less than one of the other estimates and several hundred less than the other estimate. We've always heard that you shouldn't go with the lowest bid, but we had met Steve and appreciated his honesty and the fact that he was very personable was even better! I think the job took longer than expected, but if you are like me - painting should not be rushed. Painting is an art form and it's something that my husband and I do not like to do. The guys that painted our condo were awesome. Troy does amazing cut-in and trim work. Our trim was oil-based and unfortunately, we had to go with oil base on the trim again. The smell was strong, but Steve warned us about it, so we were expecting it. To make a long story short - our place looks AMAZING! We would not hesitate to have Steve and his company do work for us again. Couldn't be happier! I highly recommend Steve's First Choice Painting if you are in the Daytona Beach area! Give him a call.

Steve and his crew did a wonderful job painting our duplex. He was very patient with me and my sister, as it took us a while to agree on the color. He was very responsive to phone calls and texts. He painted our garage doors at no extra charge so they would match the color of the trim. Very pleased with his work and would use him again.
