Tech arrived and charged us $100. Looked and the TV and tried to power it up with their remote. Tech said he thinks that it is the power supply board but not sure. Will order part that should take 2/3 days to arrive will try it and see IF it works..Initially sales rep said 2 days for the part. After calling 4 times for a status over 8 days I was told the there was an error in ordering the part and it should be there in another 2/3 days. After 10 days now still no part. I don't believe this company was being honest with me. Saw other reviews were the part ordering was also in error for substantial delays. I would NOT recommend them for any repairs.

Royal is an approved service provider for LG appliances and they went out of their way to solve a major issue we had with an LG refrigerator. It died twice in a two month period during the second year and Royal tech, Michael, diagnosed it as a leak of refrigerant within the sealed system. That kind of leak is not repairable but LG dragged the process of refunding the cost of this expensive appliance out for a full month. It took three service calls, even one from another service provider for a "second opinion". Then they brought Royal back to perform additional tests and photograph the results. The process was ridiculous and stressful and in the end, LG finally gave us our money back and reimbursed us for lost food items. Royal tech Michael, office manager Michelle, and dispatcher Shelia were professional and yet caring. I would not hesitate to call them for any large appliance repair. They were wonderful!

Everyone associated with the transaction was friendly and helpful. Very easy to work with.  Ken (the technician)was especially flexible and accommodating with explaining what we needed. The service call and work totaled to less than half the not-so-nice Geek Squad demanded even before they'd schedule an appointment!  So glad I kept looking.  The was a scheduling snafu, but otherwise everything was great!  Thank you.

The tech showed up and did not appear to be familiar with LG products. He did not touch the washer other than to run the spin cycle. He only spent a few minutes in the house. He videoed taped the loud noise and said someone from the shop would call me the next business day. Never got a call back from the shop. I had to call them twice before they offered to send another tech out in several days that actually knew something about LG products. At that point I decided to eat the $89.95 for the worthless service call and contacted reputable LG dealer.

It worked out terrible. They are not prompt and they do not tell the truth. They do not follow up on incomplete work. They made promises that they did not keep. The technician that came spent 6-8 hours and he did not know what he was doing. We already had a previous antennae and all they had to do was install the new antennae. They ran a wire down the wall inside my bedroom. I called the credit card company to stop payment because it took over 2 weeks and they still did not get it taken care of. There were several other issues with them and I will not recommend them to others.

A  couple of days after posting this review I received a call from them and they apologized for removing the satellite dish and they refunded the $89.95 they charged me for it's removal.  I've upgraded my rating from a D to a C.

When I scheduled the service I was not given any cost estimates and was told the technician would give me an estimate before starting the work.  When the Tech arrived he started asking me questions about where to put the antenna and where the TV's were located. After reviewing the locations he started doing the work without mentioning costs, and when he was done I was surprised with a $708.49 bill.  He removed my satellite dish, which I did not tell him to do, and it was not necessary for him to remove in order to install the antenna.  That left 4 holes in my siding that rain can enter through.  I've sent them a letter requesting they return the satellite dish, remount it to my house to cover the holes and credit the $89.95 they charged me to remove the satellite dish since I did not request it be removed.  I have not had any response from them, and probably never will.
Caution to anyone considering using them, get a Written Estimate Before You Schedule Your Service.  Don't believe the " Tech will give you an estimate when he arrives" speech. Do Not let the Tech perform any work without getting the costs in Writing.

Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and very helpful. They have a neon sign in their window that says they won't be undersold. I like buying from a local business. A national store told me that I would need a different HMDI cable as the one that my cable company provides will not give me the best service. They would be charging an extra $60+. Royal Electronics said I did not need it and they were right.

The shop checked the TV for repair-ability. They kept to TV for several days.
Upon returning to the shop they stated the TV was not repairable. It was a Dell with proprietary parts that were unavailable.

Call made to shop on 5-7-2013 to describe problem with tv. I was told to bring into shop and that no charge for a diagnosis.
Brought set into shop next am. They worked on tv for 2 hours. Could not find any problem but gave us possible causes for problem of vol. and channels scrolling when using remote. Brought set home and found problem was still present in our home. Call business and technician walked me through possible remedies. Found problem and set seems to be working at present time.

I thought I was going to have to buy a new TV but they repaired it within 45 min. It was a newer flat screen TV and I will use them again because they saved me from having to buy a new TV. I used them several years ago or just whenever I have needed them and they have always been professional. I like the fact the price is right and they are always here when they say they will be.

Royal came out and replaced the color wheel to start. The TV still had additional issues. They replaced the cooling fan and when that didn't fix the problem they took it into the shop to see what they could do. It took a little over a week and they brought the TV back to the house as good as new. I was surprised there wasn't any additional charges!

King is one of those people who do not listen to you. The kid with him was supposed to be the technician, but King did all the work, what there was of it. I had set up my new antenna, which I had purchased from Royal and, while the antenna was set up correctly, my previous antenna had required a series of powered amplifiers to work. Mr. King removed the amplifiers, even though I said I could do that myself. He tested most but not all of my outlets, and left a piece of his cable in place rather than putting my own back. Almost forgot his test meter. And charged me $90.00 more for what he did, which used no materials other than a 2-foot piece of cable, and 15 minutes of work and 20 minutes of talking to me. A total of $186.50. I can't complain that the TV doesn't get a signal, but for $96.50, he could have told me to get rid of the extra amplifiers myself. And what person making service call charges extra for the equipment he uses? I think he ripped me off because he turned it into a two-person call when it only had to be handled by one.

Called for a repair appointment and they said they would be in the area the next day at 3pm. Tech arrived at 2:45 friendly and knowledgeable. Took 10 minutes to locate problem. spend 30 minutes to repair. Put everything back in place and cleaned up area. Charged the $95 minimum service price. He made an extra effort to not have to take unit to the shop.

My husband and I took our 32" Zenith TV in to the shop for repairs after a power surge at our home. As soon as we pulled up to the curb, Mark came right out to greet us and offered to carry the set inside (it is heavy so we were happy to let him do this). Mark told us that he would call first with an estimate for repairs. Within just a few hours, we got that call and decided to go ahead and have the repairs done. The next morning, Mark called us again to report that the TV had been repaired and he would be happy to deliver it to our home in New Smyrna Beach without any extra delivery charge as he was doing some other work in the area that day. Of course we were delighted and accepted his offer. Mark not only delivered the TV but, also brought it into our home, set it up in the armoire and made sure it was working properly. My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased with their customer service and we highly recommend this business to others.
