They tried many techniques to diagnosis and stabilize my cat. They followed up frequently with calls to let me know his prognosis. In the end, the cat didn't make it, but I felt he got the best care he could. They were also very sensitive to my loss and did a pawprint casting of my little guy.

We brought our aging (13 years old) Chow Chow mix Brynna in following a bad reaction to a course of antibiotics prescribed (by another provider) for a skin irritation.
We were impressed with the staff from the first frantic call I made asking if we could bring her in at 7a.m. despite never having been there before. I just didn't think we had an extra hour to wait for her and quot;regularand quot; vet to open. The receptionist and the vet tech who greeted us were very helpful and patient with me as I tried to explain what had happened (I wasn't holding myself together very well).
None of the vets were in yet, but they took her in to get her comfortable. They were extremely gentle with Brynna who couldn't stand on her own due to the distress. The receptionist let us know that we could stay in the waiting room if we wanted or head home and they would give us a call as soon as she was examined. We decided to head home and we didn't have to wait long for a follow-up call.
Dr. Brown was very professional during the call and I was very impressed with the clarity with which she spoke. She explained the situation fully to me, which enabled me to make an informed decision about Brynna's care. Unfortunately, because of the severity of her illness and the likelihood of continuing deterioration of health because of underlying health issues, we decided that Brynna had lived a full life and it was time to say goodbye after 10 years together.
We were very appreciative of how Ravenwood handled the euthanasia process for our dog Brynna. They let us know we could come in at any time (which we did immediately) and reviewed the options for her remains (i.e. different urns) if we wanted to have her cremated. Additionally, they asked if we wanted to pay in advance so we could leave immediately following the procedure. For such a difficult subject, they handled it delicately and we were very appreciative of this; it would have been horrible to have to stay longer and pay after saying goodbye as both my husband and I were very emotional.
They set Brynna up in a room where we could visit with her privately for about 15 minutes before saying our final goodbyes. Dr. Brown and the vet tech were both there for the procedure and they explained the process fully to us so we could understand what she would be experiencing. They were extremely kind and supportive and apologetic.
In terms of the cremation, I believe Ravenwood utilizes another company for these services, but the process was seamless for us. Ravenwood called us about a week and a half later to let us know that Brynna's remains were ready to be picked up. To our surprise, the wooden urn we selected before saying goodbye also came along with a clay imprint of her paw and some clippings of her beautiful red fur. This was a very nice detail and I'm so glad that we will have these tokens to remember her.
Overall, we were incredibly impressed with Ravenwood despite having to use them for a very upsetting service. We have another dog and will now go to Ravenwood for his services.

Surgery performed By Dr.. Anderson. Dog went in on a Wednesday and I picked her up on Thursday. She was kept comfortable while there and I was given meds to keep her comfortable at home. She was seen weekly until she was able to walk on surgical leg. The healing went without complications and no one would guess that she has had surgery

They were great. They were very clean and very neat. They seemed very professional. I called and explained that she was not eating and had lost weight and that she had a great big cyst on her side and they got her in right away. They were pretty punctual. I would definitely use them again because I have 3 other animals.

I just moved to Florida and needed to get my cat and dog established with a Vet. and update all their shots and medical needs. Dr. Mark Anderson was wonderful giving the pets the best most complete examinations they have ever had. This is the place to take your pets.

Every time I visit Ravenwood the experience is a good one. The doctors are caring and have a lot of experience. If one of my pets has a non-routine problem then I can rely on them to figure it out and prescribe the right treatment. The front desk staff is some of the best in the business, they are always pleasant and professional.
