LOWE'S

They said that they would be there to receive the shipment due to me not being home. However, when I got home, there were several thousand dollars of cabinets that I had not ordered, yet ended up being charged for. Also, in the demolition, they threw away drawer handles etc, that it was listed in the plans that they not throw out. Also, there was a glazing that was supposed to be on the cabinets, that I was charged for, and yet was not on the cabinets that they were installing. They just said that I would get a refund, and then when escalated to the rep, they claimed they could see the glazing. Then in the contract, they showed a disclaimer that said that the glazing could be "invisible". When they came to install the countertop, they had measured, and with the delivery, one piece was 6 inches too short and they were unable to get the correct piece installed for a month. The drawer and door fronts didn't match as they were supposed to, and this prevented installation. This project was paid for in March, and is still not completed. Not only is it not completed, there have been multiple issues in the project, and I'm not happy with the result of things that have been completed.

Our experience with Lowes was excellent. The price for the tile et al, was very good, as was the cost of installation. Installation was roughly half of the entire cost. Overall a very smooth and positive experience. The installer that Lowes contracted was exceptional. Their quality of work and attention to detail was outstanding. I would recommend Lowes to anyone interested in buying tile flooring and/or having it installed.

Their pricing is competitive, the store is neat and clean, and I can usually find what I need there.

The experience was a mixed bag. The day after the cabinets were installed, the guys that did the countertops were wonderful. I couldn't believe they were 2 guys handling that much weight. The counter guys did a great job. I had to call them to send somebody back on the cabinet. We have a cat and the cat could have gone underneath the cabinet, so he came out and with grumbling fixed it. I have noticed that the replaced faucet in the sink is leaking right now. With just light pressure on the nozzle, it pours out in the side and I can fix it myself. The cabinets are great.

.They did an excellent job and the staff at Lowes were great with the scheduling and such. The contractor was really good.
