Virgil did an excellent job of quoting the work to be done, coming out to do the work quickly and cleaning up afterwards. His price was fair and the quality of work excellent. I will definitely be using Florida Heights in the future and recommending them to others.

They were punctual for the estimate and for the work and the price compared very well with other bids. Virgil and his crew were professional, the work was done quickly and cleanly, and all debris was removed. . Virgil even did me the favor of finding out where rodents were getting into our attic while he had the vantage point of the cherry-picker!  I would recommend Florida Heights highly.

Prompt efficient fair priced service

They were excellent.  Personable as well as professional. They arrived and immediately started working.  Very thorough and did an excellent job of cleanup.  I cannot recommend this company enough.  Great work at a great value!

Virgil is very professional and obviously takes great pride in his business.  He responded quickly to my inquiry, came and gave an estimate and did the work in less than a week.  I had 2 large trees with large branches hanging over my roof-he trimmed both trees, cleaned up every bit of debris and made sure I was happy with the work.  I wouldn't hesitate to use his service for any other work I may need done.  You will get your money's worth and then some!

First of all, I will save you some time if you are not into
reading long reports. Florida Heights Service does the job right. I had
obtained 5 quotes in all. While FHS was not the lowest bigger, they were not
the highest either. Virgil Stoitzfus is very professional. He made suggestions
on what work was needed and give me an estimate. He obtained the proper permit
from the city on Monday for the tree removal. As soon as that was done, he
contacted me right away and set an appointed for the work to be done the next
Thursday morning.  He and his team
arrived at the appointed hour and did the work in the time he estimated it
would take. The final price was the same as the estimate. No hidden charges.
Florida Heights Service has a “cherry picker” so no one had
to scale any trees. The wood chipper mulched all the cuttings so that there was
no debris. The removed the 3 trees in my yard, two of which were threatening
the house. Nothing fell from the trees hitting the house. The tackle to handle
the cuttings safely delivered the cuttings out to the street where the wood
chipper was.
I would certainly hire Florida Heights Service again next
time. They are nice people to work with.

We asked for a quote from Florida Heights to remove a very
large branch of an oak tree that was hanging over our home, trim several palm
trees, remove other branches from other trees in the front yard and remove an
orange tree that was diseased. Virgil (owner) showed up on time the same day to
provide the quote. The price he gave was very reasonable. The job performed by Virgil along
with his two sons was excellent, he also trimmed some other trees
that were not in his original quote at no additional charge. He did an excellent
job in cleaning all the debris after the job was completed. We were not only impressed with his work
performance but also his work ethic. We have lived in this community for 30
years and have had numerous tree and yard work done, Virgil and crew have
done the best job. I highly recommend Florida Heights.

 

It was such a pleasure to work with Virgil on trimming the branches of some very large oak trees.  Some of the large limbs were hanging over the roof of the house and they were able to use their bucket truck to remove them with no problem and no danger of damage to the house. He and his crew are courteous, professional, and responsive.  They want you to be happy with the job and provide suggestions that are helpful (such as which limbs to remove to prevent mildew growth on house).  He really goes above and beyond.  Very reasonably priced compared to the other estimates that we received.  This company will be our "go to" favorite for years to come.

Showed up on time and did a great job. Cleaned up after the job and left my yard looking good. Courteous and knowledgeable. The job took much longer than he expected and only at my insistence did he adjust the price upward to account for the extra work. Virgil is well known and much liked by the residents of "The Fly-In". He is honest to a fault and sets a great example for his eight children, some of whom work with him in the business. Virgil makes a friend of every customer.
