Dave Stairs Lawn Care

Description of Work: Contracted with Dave Stair Lawn Care to cut lawn in front and back yards and trim brushes, due every two weeks from July 6 through September 25, 2010. We were out of state during that time, but paid via checking account bill-pay. Reports of neighbors and prop. manager indicated grass was not kept trimmed. Upon returning we found lawn not trimmed for at least a month, brushes were NEVER trimmed. Upon calling Dave Stairs he claimed to have cut and trimmed as contracted, but that was impossible based upon both reports and wildly grown bushes. Dave claimed to have trimmed the bushes on 9-18, but on 9-26 they had 3 feet of growth, equal to several months worth. Dave's explanation was "rain". We asked for a refund, but Dave only agreed to part of the request. That was a week ago, and no refund has been forthcoming, nor has key to gate been returned by Dave Stairs. When we trimmed the bushes it resulted in 5 large yard waste plastic bags full of trimmings due to the overgrowth!
