The situation was more difficult than imagined. The stonecutters had cut the faucet hole too near the sink and the washers and screws could not be installed. He came up with an ingenious solution of filing the washer down, buying longer screws and manually screwing the faucet from above. Two other companies could not figure it out. He also took care of the leaks another plumber could not fix, and came immediately after being called on a Saturday morning!

Ron returned my calls promptly to set up an appointment and arrived right on time. Several minor plumbing repairs included toilet, bathroom and kitchen faucets and replace the dishwasher cutoff valve. Ron was friendly, courteous and efficient. He offered several maintenance tips and charges were very reasonable. We would definitely hire him again.

I called Ron from Certified Plumbing and he came out to our condo to assess the job and give an estimate on replacing our old 22 year old 40 gallon Rheem hot water heater. We accepted the estimate and he called the next week after obtaining a permit and came that Thursday. He called when he was here and started draining the tank. His assistant, Joe, came and they went to work removing the old tank and a prefilter to an existing whole condo water filter. Then they installed the new Rheem 50 gallon tank Ron recommended. It was a tight fit, but Ron made it work. They put in new plumbing and Ron even installed new on/off valves to the water filter. Ron is very knowledgeable and friendly and professional and helpful. We are very happy with Ron’s work and will definitely recommend him and use him in the future.

Ron and his team were awesome. I had tried to hire another plumber from Angie's list, but he was unresponsive, so I called Ron. What a stroke of luck! We traded texts, phone calls and pictures of the existing install over the weekend for a Tuesday AM install. Can't say enough about how responsive, courteous, professional, etc., etc. Already have another job for Ron to quote.....A++ rating for Certified Plumbing Services!!!

Finding Ron and Certified Plumbing was my lucky day. My long time plumber had retired and I was in the market for a new water heater. I did my research on brands and features, had a good idea of what I thought would work, and then picked 3 top rated vendors to get bids from. Not even close, Ron was the most responsive and the most diligent in scoping out my issues and concerns. He was the only plumber willing to find time to come by and map out my requirements before giving me a bid. The others quoted me a price over the phone for a unit I had no idea, or did they, would fit where I wanted and do what I wanted the unit to do. I've learned over the years it's not just the product. After all, most of these units are made in the same type factory with the same type engineering. The key ingredient for success and years of carefree use is how it gets installed. Ron gave me choices with the pro and cons of the different units I was considering. Surprisingly Ron always guided me towards the least expensive options but still letting me know they would comfortably meet my basic requirements. The guy is honest to a fault. A quality you don’t see much anymore. I opted for a unit with a few more options and Ron still gave me a great price. I never bothered to call back the other vendors for a written quote. Trust and confidence hold great value these days. Ron projects both those assets. On delivery day Ron called first and showed up right on time. He upgraded a few older pipes for a better connection, as we discussed, and in a few hours, with his helper, had the install completed. They cleaned up after themselves and my garage looked like nothing happened. EXCEPT; I got a great new water heater, with a 12 year warranty, a bunch of consumer friendly options, exactly where I wanted it located, with upgraded hardware, and at a really great price. Ron the owner is a real professional who knows his craft. He covered all the bases to make sure I got what I needed and what I wanted. He was patient and responsive with all my questions and really came through in the end with a flawless install. Needless to say Certified is our homes new plumber. My water heater was working, but was really old and sounded like it was ready to go. Based on other reviews I saw here, I included Certified Plumbing in my quote request I sent one night. Ron called me back first thing the next morning to discuss. I had a unique situation as my water heater is below my AC and was behind a half-wall that was put up. Ron met me right on time to check it out and give me an estimate. His price was pretty much where I expected it to be for this specific job. He was able to fit me in for the very next day. Ron and his associate were right on time the next morning. They got right to work drilling into the wall so they could access the heater. Ron helped assess everything and switch out the tanks. Once it was down to the final soldering and putting the wall back up, Ron made sure I was okay with his associate finishing up and said I could reach him if needed. The associate finished the job, cleaned up, and made sure everything was working appropriately. Ron called me at the end of the day to make sure everything was good and let me know to call him if I needed anything. Considering I thought the wall was going to be garbage, they put it back up in a presentable way until I can have someone come out and put a door there instead (to make it easier in the future). Overall, I am extremely satisfied. Ron is a true professional that was up front. I hope I don't have any plumbing necessities in the near future, but I will definitely call Ron again if I do.

Very well. Ron arrived and systematically repaired each one, explaining as he worked what the problem was. He replaced parts only as needed and while he recommended replacing with more efficient toilets, he did not put any pressure on me. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending Ron for any plumbing needs. I will use him again.

Ron is knowledgeable, professional, kind, and well equipped to get the job done right. My outdoor spigot was leaking into the interior of my home. He found the source of the problem with minimal break out of the interior and exterior wall. Ron even patched the exterior wall before leaving. I can't believe anyone would be disappointed with his service!

Other than difficult to contact at first, work was done, fair price, very professional.

Ron is my hero! Yes, he is a great plumber but he is also a detective! All went well - leak found, ourdoor faucet replaced, main water shut-off installed. A water softener unit was the source of the leak - Ron disconnected it (per my wish) so that it could be removed. Thanks Ron! Jan

Excellent. Ron made time in his schedule to come over on less than 24 hours notice and checked everything out and replaced our old hot water heated very quickly. He called when he was finished and let us know he had left and locked up and that all was well. We will definitely use him again! (Cost of service was ~$1,000 and included the hot water heater and the service call)

I feel like I won the plumbing lottery. Ron did not make a big deal out of having to re-do the piping under the kitchen sink. He showed exactly what the issue was and what the solution would be. Perfect. He then looked at the spigot on the porch and dismantled it and tried to loosen it. He offered that as a no cost option to a much bigger job. He told me to let him know if I decided later to go with the bigger job. The total cost for the visit and repairs was very reasonable. Not only was Ron competent and personable, his pricing is quite livable. It really is a big deal for a homeowner to find a reliable, competent and reasonable plumber.)

Perfectly! Ron was great , he came to the house right away which was wonderful because we only have one bathroom, he answered every question patiently even our dumb ones , explained everything step by step even recommending someone else for another problem then he got on the phone to explain the issue so we would be sure to get the correct service we were very impressed, thank you Ron !

Since it was not an emergency and I had called on a Holiday, Ron arrived the next day, was able to unclog the toilet problem quickly and also repaired our two showers which needed a new cartridge (expensive) installed. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. Service was not exactly cheap but the quality was worth it to me. I would definitely call him again and can highly recommend him.

For price, they are comparable to anyone else. I graded them a B because I hate spending money. Quality is an A because so far, it is still working. They were responsive. I called Certified Plumbing and that guy wasn't available right away but he sent somebody else -I don't know what company he worked for but he was still working under Certified Plumbing. They were very responsive. The guy knew that I needed help and he wasn't going to be able to get out here right away. He sent this other guy who was able to get out right away. He was very responsive because he made sure that I had help when I needed it. For punctuality, he didn't have a time/he just said that he was on a call and that guy came out. I left a message and she called me back  and said that he had called this other guy and he was coming out. Professionalism was an A, he made sure I was taken care of and I like that. Everything was clean when they left and he took away the old water heater. He made sure I knew how to operate it, what temperature was a good temperature to set it at. He showed me the new things on the new water heater.

Ron went above an beyond to find and fix it. Referred us to a restoration company to have the damages fixed and stuck around to show and explain the situation to them. Awesome experience. Would highly recommend and certainly would hire again!! Thanks Ron

This was my second time using Certified Plumbing and Ron. Both experiences were top notch. The first time was to replace an outside water spicket that had quit working. The most recent work was to replace a hot water heater that was starting to leak. I can tell Ron pays attention to detail and wants the work to be done right the first time. Ron and his helper were very professional and polite and arrived on time. I would definitely call on Ron and Certified plumbing again in the future.
