"WRONG COMPANY AGAIN !!!!!!! OK so this is really a problem that Angie's List refuses to solve. This is the third spurious review that has been posted on our Angie's list page. We are based in Port Charlotte Florida. We are not in New York. We are a Cleaning Company not a Mother and Daughter cleaning service. We have approximately 13 Maid associates that work really hard to earn a living to feed their families. All of our Maids have to study the 5 key elements of Home cleaning. They have to pass written tests and Pass field assessments before they can move through the training. They have to graduate Maid university to achieve Maid status. My husband does not do cleaning he is responsible for the marketing and let me say he is seriously re-considering the investment we have made in Angie's list. It appears that Angie's List do not validate the reviews and profess that they can do nothing about removing these defamatory statements. I am not even convinced that this is a genuine review at all. If it is, I do feel sorry for the lady concerned It is unfortunate that almost anyone can start a cleaning company. There are no licenses no minimum requirements all you need is a truck, a mop and a bucket and there you go. These type of companies pop up and disappear overnight. They think, "How hard can it be" well when they find hard it is they vanish in a moment. They usually are cheap because they don't pay all their taxes and keep it all under the table. They are the scourge of the industry. I just wish she had taken the time to make sure her comments are attributed to the right company because this could effect my business and the Maids I employ.. This review is of a cleaning service carried out by a family of cleaners, Husbands, mothers daughters and who knows who. You only need to look at the photos on our site here to see that is not how we operate. Since Angie's list has become a "free to use" service the veracity of their reviews have become highly suspicious. They now generate much of their revenues from businesses that advertise with them or use their merchant services. It used to be that you could trust the reviews because only members could uses the site nowadays anyone can post anything they want. I have tried in vain for Angie's List to remove this libelous review but they do nothing. I have no option other than to respond to this review so that genuine potential clients can read this response and make their own judgement. Of Course it is quite likely that Angie's list will remove my response as it doesn't show them in a very good light but i have to try. in closing I would ask that you perhaps take the reviews on Angie's list with more than a grain of salt. They have no honour and do not care if the real bad company is bought to the attention of the public as long as someone does. Angie's List you should be ashamed of what you have become. "Dear [Member Name], I was very upset to hear how you were treated by your cleaning company. I hate it when cleaning services act so unprofessionally. It simple demeans the whole industry. One of the things we pride ourselves on is our customer service so Initially I was shocked to see the F Review. Then I checked the name of the client to see how we could make things right and it all became clear. We have not in fact done any work for this lady. When I read the whole review it didn't make sense. First of all we work in teams of three maids, with a team leader and two maid associates. We do have a process that we use which does actually involve having a maid working in different parts of the home all coming together at the end with the final vacuuming and mopping as we work our way out of the property. Then I checked our database and we do not have any record of the clients name, or address. Which we would have to have for us to be able to produce the computer generated work order. Finally as this was only Monday of last week I know there is some confusion as our teams were all busy cleaning other clients all day and I didn't leave the office at all. Here's the thing, I do believe this must simply be a mix up with company names or perhaps a rival trying to affect our high rating on Angie's list. But this is what I would like to do for this lady. Please call me in the office on 941 979 8462. I would like to restore your faith in You've got Maids and even though this review is not for my company I feel bad for you and disappointed that any cleaning company would treat you this way. So let me arrange an in home estimate for a one time clean at your home and I will offer you a 50% discount on the normal price. Please just look at the other reviews we have received and ask yourself how they be so different in just a few days. In the area we have; you got it maid, merry maids,royal maids, maid pro Molly maids the list goes on. Ps I was serious about my offer of a 50% discount. Why not find out what everyone else is raving about."

"I was very saddened to see this message from this client. I had been providing her and her family of cats with Bi Weekly Maid service since August right up to January. A team of two or sometimes three Maids serviced her home every other week and had thought that she was pleased with the service they were providing. She did not mention any of her concerns during our regular pre service calls that I always make the day before service. I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee to everyone so if she had mentioned any of her concerns at any time My Maids would have gladly returned to her home and dealt with them. I do this because it’s impossible to be perfect all the time and I have to accept that maids can make mistakes and occasionally miss something. It is true to say there were some challenges that her rather extended feline family presented on a regular basis. The cats would wander through the property during service being inquisitive and cat like. Occasionally presenting little accidents and so on that my ladies dealt with in a truly professional manner always doing the best job they could. They actually believed they were improving this client’s home environment each time they visited so I am sure they will be equally disappointed to see that they did not please every time. We would welcome the opportunity to revisit her as I really don’t like to think that any client is dissatisfied. Marion & Drew Denby"
