ROBBERY! Two (2) persons were dispatched to perform a job easily performed by one real plumber. I was charged an hourly rate of $128.00 (1.25 man hours) for the plumber and $64.00 (1.5 man hours) for his helper, and a $98.00 service call charge to Jones Loop Road 1 mile east of I-75. I was charger for 2.75 man hours for a job which in my judgment and experience could have been performed in 1 to 1.5 hours by only one (1) qualified plumber. This was not a job requiring two (2) persons. Invoice #46974 dated 03/18/2020. In addition I was charged $84.24 for four (4) 3/4" shark bit couplings (that's $21.06 each). A box of four (4) of the same couplings sell at retail for $26.98 at Home Depot and $29.78 at Lowes. Also, charged $4.95 for 3' of pex pipe at $1.65 per foot. At Home Depot retail is $0.49 per foot, and $0.42 at Lowes. Apparently they had nothing on their truck to drain water into as I was asked for a bucket. The lead plumber was very impersonal. I went to McDonough's office and met with a man presented to deal with my complaint. I first addressed cost of the shark bite couplings. His response was "It is what it is. Did you want us to wait for you to go to Home Depot". To which I made no response nor did I address the labor charges knowing I had been ROBBED without a weapon being displayed..

We called for an estimate and they arrived the following day. The estimate was a little high, but after seeing all the work that was involved the price was very fair. We had three men working for three days to finish the job. They did a fantastic job, were super friendly and considerate. They cleaned up each day before they left. The day after the job was completed the inspector came out, inspected and stated what an excellent job they'd done. We would happily recommend them and we will use them again if the need arises.

They were absolutely wonderful. They were so kind, thoughtful and considerate, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Actually, I stopped by their office yesterday and made an appointment for this morning. A very experienced plumber named John showed up, right on time and finished the job in thirty minutes. I have used this company twice before, once for installing a new water heater and again for repairing an outdoor leak. I was quite satisfied with them from my previous experience, so I really did not expect any problems this time. There were none! The job was a simple one, this time, and involved installing a new wax seal on the toilet in the master bath along with a new supply hose from the shutoff valve to the holding tank. Cleanup was done to perfection and everything was tested and retested. It all works correctly again, with no leaks and no mess to clean. I am a very happy camper! I highly recommend this company, whenever you need plumbing service.

We received an estimate a day or two before they were able to commence the work. We purchased a new faucet, soap dispenser and water filter from the company. We purchased the sink strainer from Home Depot at the company's suggestion since their price would be considerably higher. The plumbing under the sink was a complete mess created by the previous home owner. The company's plumber who was sent to do the work basically took the under sink plumbing completely apart and put it back together very professionally. All told they did an excellent job. However, their labor rate charge was higher than we expected. I would definitely use them again but, I would get additional estimates first.

They were wonderful. They were so professional and did such a nice job. I would highly recommend them.

They are not an emergency plumbing service. That is my only thing I do not like about them. Other than that, they were great. They drained my water heater, clean and unclog every line and pipe. They did an awesome job. If I had any other plumbing problem, I would give them a call. They were there for eight hours and stayed to make sure the job was done. There were two total guys that did the work for me.

Called for a estimate first when we got to our condo in FL. We visit about twice a year, so it's always a race to repair/replace quickly before we return. They showed up on time for the estimate and he was very professional. Gave us an estimate for the repairs and scheduled the repair for the next week (which was the earliest they could come back) They returned the next week and performed the work that was discussed with an added "can you look at this while you are here". Work was completed on time and on quoted price. He removed all the debris cleaned up the areas he worked in.(he did put heel marks on the linoleum in the kitchen that we did have to remove ourselves)
We will use this company again, and even discussed future work.

They are good and reliable.

Contacted McDonough and the toilet (a Mansfield )was installed the following day, as per my instructions.The plumber was on time,
worked cleanly, and was very professional and courtious. The toilet works well and is water saving. Another plus is that it's made in the U.S.A.
