In 1994 we established our present location but we have over 30 years installing ceramic tile and carpet throughout the Southwest Florida metropolitan area. Our project list spans the years and trends on jobs from residential, churches, schools to tenant build-outs and renovations. Tile & Carpet World was started by Duane Needham with the idea that a company based on quality, performance, and integrity would grow into an industry leader with a reputation for outstanding work. Customer service was excellent from the minute you walk in the front door. Ty very accommodating came out for measurements and brought several samples. Knowledgeable, courteous and polite. Craig was an excellent installer, polite, clean and tidy. Highly recommend for any of your flooring needs. Very satisfied with workmanship and final results.

It was determined that the repair couldn't be done. The technician recommended to the company that I get my money returned. I will be contacting the company for pricing for replacement.

OUTSTANDING!! June of 2020, we had new vinyl plank flooring installed by the folks at Tile & Carpet World. Everyone we had contact with such as Tina, Duane and installers was a wonderful experience. The installation was perfect. We couldn't have been happier. But there is more to story. About 16 months later, we noticed the flooring began to warp. We called Tile & Carpet World, Duane came to our home the next day. Inspected the flooring and said "this has to be replaced". Two weeks ago, all of the vinyl plank flooring was removed and replaced. NO COST TO US! Who does that anymore? Tile & Carpet World of Port Charlotte does.

Excellent, old loose tile floor and carpet was removed! Then entire new porcelain tile floor with a medallion was installed. We had different tile in bedrooms and a beautiful border made the transition smooth. Duane was very helpful and went way past what you would expect from a good flooring company. He took the time to explain the process and came out to our home twice to make sure all measurements were exact. We are very happy with our new floor! The ownership and employees of Tile and carpet world were great. Thankyou so much.

Fantastic. Nothing matters more then the quality of the end result and price. I give Tile and Carpet World an A+ for the quality of materials and workmanship of the new tile on tile master on suite shower floor. I believe the cost was competitive. I was also impressed by the overall professionalism of all the people involved, from the Owner Duane and son Ty and their staff and most of all, Jay, the tile installer. Jay was everything that was promised! Arrived promptly, wearing a mask due to COVID-19 CDC protocols. I had a few questions before Jay got started and answered all my questions. Jay proceeded to work, non stop, for the next several hours competing my project and leaving with a beautiful tile installation with very little mess left behind. I recommend using Tile and Carpet World in Port Charlotte, Florida.

We purchased and had installation done on 2 medallions in our home; one in our entry and one in our bathroom. The selection at the store was very good as was the staff. The installer was very excellent in assisting us to choose the exact spot for them as well as doing the installation. This was our first experience with this company and I would definitely use this again.

It went very well. The sales person was very helpful and helped us to pick reasonabley priced good carpet and pad. The installer, Jeff, was great. He and his helper showed up on time and worked diligently until the job was finished. They moved our furniture out and then moved it back in very carefully. We were very impressed with their skill and professionalism.

It went well. They did all the work in 4-1/2 days. They moved all the furniture, removed and hauled away the old carpet and tile and installed the new tile, and replaced all the furniture. They were honest and the material came in and they were able to install it in the time frame they quoted us. We were very happy with the results and would definitely use them again.

The installers did an excellent job on my floors. We had tile installed in 3 bathroom Showers, and throughout the main floor area's. We had Brazilian Hardwood floors installed in Master Bedroom and Laminate installed in the Three Guest Bedrooms. Overall, a WOW effect. Made the house look brand new.

I can't say enough about how Tile and Carpet World handled our project. The staff at the store was very helpful in the initial selection of samples that were provided so we could see how each looked in our rooms. The estimator was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions so we felt confident in our final selection. The installation team was very professional - completed the project in 1 day and the quality was excellent.
We are definately planning to use them again for new carpet it our bedrooms next year!

I was asked by the owner to tell the truth and I told him I will tell the truth. I couldn't believe he even said that to me. I will try & make this as simpsle as I can. 1. First of all, we were not told to prep the house before they jack hammered the old tile out of the kitchen, hallway & closets so we had tile dust that flew into our newly tiled dining room, living floor and all over our furniture, ceiling and walls etc. etc. We were told by the owner that we will have some tile dust. If we would of properly been told what a big mess this was going to be we would have put plastic up (most companies do that) & covered all of our furniture, put all nic-nacs, pictures away in another room. We didn't know that they were going to use a jack hammer. We have never had tile taken out of a home before to know what to expect. 2. Also, the guys had leaned tiles up against a reddish wall in our living/dining room in which it took some paint of that wall. The wall now has to get repainted because I could not match that paint. 3. The tile sample I brought home was nothing like what was installed in the dining/living room. The sample tile had no movement and the installed tile has tons of dark movement & was darker than what I had expected it to be. I called about it and the office manager said to me: I guess I should had told you this Mrs. Bailey, I got the same reply about the preping as well. 4. Also, the incorrect tile was installed in our bathroom. That all had to be torn out. I didn't go in and look until it was to late. I had told the installer and he said to call the office which I did. I took pictures of the walls and texted it to her. I know what I orderd and it wasn't the tile that was installed. I'm sure she put the wrong tile down when she orderd it because I orderd JUST ordered the trim in that tile to go around in the middle. They were trying to tell me that I just didn't like the tile which is very untrue. We put out a lot of money here and we just wanted what we ordered! Duane had one installer come out and repaint the one wall that the paint came off of and had him help clean up. I know he isn't a cleaning guy so the job wasn't done well at all. It took us 2 full days (with neighors helping us) to just clean the 4 rooms up. I still hired a cleaning lady afterwards to do more cleaning. I have to say the workmanship from Jay & Jeff was very good, they did a good job in the installation part & they were very nice to work with . I feel I was honest on everything that I said here and I even left out some other things that happened. I know Duane will leave his remarks as well and that is fine.

First, a representative of Tile & Carpet World came to the house to look over the potential job, measured the areas, discussed design options and submitted "ball-park" cost (depending on the selected tile and the selected design).
Within a week after making my decisions, a date was agreed upon and a crew of two got started. The first day they moved out the larger furniture (after we had removed as much of the smaller stuff that we could) from the to-be-tiled area, removed the old rug and cleaned out the old tile from the bath area. They also started 'dry-laying' some of the tiles in the diagonal pattern I had desired.
The entire project was completed, cleaned up and with all the larger furniture pieces put back (including a built-in desk unit that had to be reinstalled), in four days. I found that to be remarkable considering all the angles, doorways and tight areas that had to be dealt with. The two skilled craftsmen, Dan and Cody, were efficient and personable and very willing to explain everything that they were doing and what to expect. They worked quickly and with the quite unity of men who have worked as a team over many projects. Dan mostly handled the tile layout while Cody prepared the tiles and did the cutting and because of the diagonal design and the many complex areas, there was a lot of tricky cutting needed.
We are thrilled with the finished floor and have already had some wonderful compliments on a job well done.

The installers were prompt, very nice and answered all our questions. Ceramic tile was installed in our master bathroom,, This was completed in two days. The installer took a lot of pride in his work. We were very happy with the quality of workmanship.The laminate was also installed over a two day period. The installers removed all our old carpet. They moved furniture from each room as they installed the flooring. When finished, they moved all the furniture back.This flooring made the biggest difference in our home, we just love it.. Again those installers were excellent and took a lot of pride in there work. I also want to add that both installers cleaned up as they went along. When they left everything was in perfect order.

Shane and Kyle came to my home the day before they were supposed to start work and completed their preparations (ripped up the old carpet and brought in the tile). They were with us for less than a week and made a huge difference in the appearance of my home. They were very responsible in cleaning up any messes they made, made suggestions about tile borders, and were very friendly and neat in physical appearance. Their work was wonderful and I would highly recommend them (and their company) to anyone looking for new flooring.
