THEY CAME IN AND TOOK UP THE CARPET AND THE TACK STRIPS TO DRY THE CARPET. THEY LEFT WITHOUT COMPLETING THE JOB. THE CARPET WAS LAID ON THE FLOOR WITHOUT TACKING IT DOWN. IT STILL HAD BLACK MOLD AROUND THE EDGES AND HALF OF THE PADDING WAS MISSING. I CALLED THEM TO FIND OUT WHY THEY HAD NOT COMPLETED THE JOB AND I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE DONE AND WOULD NOT BE FIXING ANYTHING. THEY SAID THE CHARGES WERE NORMAL FOR A WATER EXTRACTION. THE AREA IS ONLY A SMALL PORCH, SO $900 TO EXTRACT WATER IS EXTREMELY STEEP. HAD WE BEEN GIVEN AN ESTIMATE, WE WOULD HAVE CHOSEN TO REPLACE THE CARPET DUE TO THE UNREASONABLE CHARGES. THIS COMPANY STATES THAT IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION, THEY ARE NOT REQUIRED TO GIVE ESTIMATES, THEY DO NOT HAVE TO ARRIVE IMMEDIATELY (WHICH THEY DID NOT) AND THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE THEIR WORK. WE FEEL THAT WE HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF DUE TO THE HURRICANE.
