The actual work done on the pool was fine - They were prompt in starting and finishing the job, and the tile and new surface are great, though we did have to "persuade" the painter of the pool deck to give it two coats (giving two coats was in the contract, but he seemed surprised we wanted more than one). After that, it all went downhill. The overflow from the spa has not worked properly since they did the work. They may have come out once to check the chemicals without us having to call. We checked chemicals ourselves and found the pool low on EVERYTHING. We called them and were told someone had been out the previous day to do a full service on the pool, including cleaning the filter. We were home all day and know for a fact no one had been out. Finally they came out to add chemicals, and though we had managed to get the overflow working ourselves, once they came out, it was no longer working properly - barely dribbling over. We have called repeatedly, and were told someone would be out first thing today to take care of it, but it is now 3:30 p.m. (they close at 4:00) and no one has been here and they won't answer/return our calls. While the workmanship on the surface/tile of the pool was very good, their customer service since then has been deplorable, and no one with the company seems to know how to make the pump/filter/overflow work properly.

I was extremely happy with Resurrection Pools. My first meeting was with Brian, he gave me a good price quote, then came again to help me design to space. The teams of workers were exceptional, Dave did the actual pool construction, along with Mike & Alex. Dave is an artist, he did precision work on the coping tile cuts and the spa feature is beautiful. The paver crew worked tirelessly and did a beautiful job also. Lastly the crew that resurfaced the bottom, were amazing. Wayne and his crew made the bottom of our pool look like new, the entire job is perfection. The office staff needs recognition too, Tobi was our project manager. She notified me of everything that would happen throughout the project. She was available to assistant me when some minor changes were. Once they started the work, they continued to stay on schedule and completed the project in a very timely manor. We are so happy we chose them, as we had met with 4 other contractors. Having read other Angie's list reviews, I decided to go with them. Thank you everyone I haven't already mentioned, Matt Jr., Kevin, Dillon, and all the other men who did this fine work for us. We really appreciate your professionalism.

Extremely well. In fact the company had to do our job twice in order to live up to its promise to get it done right. The first time cracks appeared in the bottom a couple of weeks after completion. So they came out and removed everything they had done, pressure washed the entire pool, then resurfaced it again. Now, after a month, it looks terrific. I'd like to able to give them an A++.

It was a terrible experience. From the poor start of the project to installing the pool heater without the required building permit, it's the wrong color, the filter is difficult for senior citizen to clean, and much more.

I had my pool resurfaced, tile border replaced, and whole lanai painted. The craftsmanship with the pool project is very good. The team really seemed to know what they were doing and they were very friendly. It turned out well and is a huge improvement. There was a mix-up with the paint color for the lanai. I had selected a color and was told I could select another color by a certain date, which I did, but they painted my lanai the original color. The owner and I worked it out and while I was not at fault I offered to split the cost of the paint to have it painted the color I wanted. I really did not like the first color but I very much like the second color and appreciate them correcting it. What I do not like though is that there are many pine needles painted on my lanai as well. I do not remember them being there in the first color and they certainly were not there on the original color. I realize it was several days between the paintings and debris got on the lanai, but I did pay a lot of money for the job and would prefer it to be perfect. It looks like brush hairs on a painting.....not a huge deal but could be avoided and would look better. Other than the painted needles the craftsmanship of the painting is good also.

Resurrection Pools resurfaced my pool and installed pavers on the deck. It looks magnificent! From the moment we met with this company to pick out the surface, tiles and the pavers until the moment it was complete, this company was great. They showed up when they said they would, finished on time and I did not have to pay them until the job was complete. There was a minor glitch with the pool light, but it was resolved quickly. This is a great company and I recommend if you are going to have this work done, have Resurrection pools do it. They are professional, a pleasure to work with and they do great work! Although everyone that I worked with was fabulous, I have to say that Toby went above and beyond; not only did she help me with every step in the process, I felt like she was a friend helping me every step of the way. She made me feel like I was the only one she was working with. She is quite knowledgable about the entire process and I am, admittedly, a bit, shall I say.....high maintenance. Toby never wavered - she was great! I can say enough about this company!

We are very happy with the finished product. Our pool deck looks amazing and the crews were extremely nice and very professional. They always arrived exactly when they said they would and the owner came out immediately to address a concern we had. They finished the job quickly and always cleaned up after themselves. We had a few minor issues after that were addressed right away. We would definitely use them again!

Excellent. Confirmed what other estimators had said and provided options to resolve our issue. What I liked was he gave options and costs and recommendations. He basically told us that he would do the work if that is what we wanted to have done but there were cheaper options and we should get a plumber to fix the issue and it would cost a lot less. LOVED his honesty.

WE HIRED RESURRECTION POOLS TO RESURFACE OUR POOL DECK AND POOL. ALL THE EMPLOYEES WERE VERY NICE AND DID EXCEPTIONAL WORK. They estimated the project would take 4 weeks and it was completed in three weeks (to me there is nothing better than under estimating and over delivery) I would definitely recommend Resurrection pools to anyone and everyone - to date we have had no issues with the pool deck or the pool resurface itself - it looks beautiful and we are delighted!

First of all, the county came out and closed the entire thing down, put a stop work order on it because they were using an unlicensed sub. We had lots of inspectors here. When they sent the sub home, Resurrection Pools had their own men do the work and they did it terribly. We have large gaps between the pavers that allow weeds to grow. Very large gaps, I can put my finger in between some of them because they didn't know how to put the stones close together. We have stones that are not cut correctly, so they don't even fit the space they are in. One of the pavers was left cracked. We paid to have them fill the spaces between them, which as I said was very large. They filled them with sand and then hired another sub to come out and seal that. They didn't seal it well, the sand is all loose, I can work it up with my finger and it allows weeds to grow in between.

This is a very professional company with very professional employees. Each phase of the project had its own crew - and each crew member knew exactly was to do as part of the team. Every phase was FLAWLESS - leading to the next phase. - The completed project took 5 days & went like clockwork (actually it was completed ahead of schedule) because of the team effort - We are BEYOND SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS -- If you need any work done on your pool or patio - I would highly recommend RESURRECTION POOLS.

The quality of the work seems to be excellent. Everything looks great. The workers did not always show up on the days/times they promised. There was some mess left in our yard and sand in our pool. The subcontractor for paver sealing, Ricardo Opazo, did an outstanding job on the power-washing and paver sealing.

Wow...what a wonderful company to do business with! From the very first contact with Tobey on the phone...the entire process was smooth. Brian arrived promptly for our estimate. He is professional and detail oriented. Their entire crew was awesome....especially Craig, Dave and Pete. Resurrection Pools did an amazing job on our pool. It looks beautiful! They were efficient and very tidy. If you are on the fence with hiring a company....you need not to worry and just hire Resurrection Pools! I will continue to highly refer them . It is refreshing to know that there are still honest and reliable companies in this day and age! They all work together as one big family. When Brian gave us the estimate, he emphasized that the employees were like family and that the owner treated them very well. Thank you Resurrection Pools!

Super! Great people, great workers, great company.

Ok so I haven't had the best of luck with contractors here in Southwest Florida, but I can definitely say this one is one of the few I would recommend. I bought a foreclosure and the pool and deck were in very bad shape. The walls were crumbling and it was a mess. Matt and his crew did an outstanding job start to finish and gave attention to every detail without hesitation. Although not a tremendously large pool the quality was superior as was the professionalism. One of the few contractors that also clean up thoroughly afterwards, grounds, cage, etc.. They are a class act and do great work so if you're in the market definitely give these guys a call!

Excellent company to work for. No cost over runs, professional, courteous, even added on some extra design touches!!! Done on time and easy to communicate with considering we did this all from another country. Would recommend them without hesitation.

Eight months later, at the end of summer, chlorine generator stopped making chlorine. We called.again. They sent associated company, which had to call someone else for help. Ostensibly, the associated company reset the computer. The chlorine generator went from making no chlorine to making excessive chlorine. We were told to call the associated company for assistance, but they did not remember us or our pool problem. After explaining to them, they promised to check and call back. They did not do so. We called the associated company again. Same lack of response occurred. Called Resurrection Pools and asked for the boss to call back. He did not do so. Since personnel from Resurrection Pools obviously do not understand how to diagnose or repair salt generators, and apparently do not care because they do not return my calls, I have made other arrangements to have our problem corrected.

Trust me- steer clear of this provider!!!As an owner of two businesses where customer service is of utmost importance this company has no concept of it. The work was performed while we were not home. We arrived to find the heater not operating at all. We immediately called the office and explained that the new heater they installed is not working. The girl who answered the phone said to call the manufacturer - we don't service heaters. Really????? But before she ended the call, she asked for the final payment for the work!! Really??? The heater you just installed doesn't work, but now it's my problem, and just send you a check and we're done????? I honestly felt like I was in the twilight zone. We had to call the manufacturer and sit home and wait for them the next day. I called Resurrection back and expressed my disbelief in their total lack of customer service. They finally agreed to send an installer out to appease me. So the next day an installer and a tech from the manufacturer came out and guess what?????? Wires were hooked up wrong - well, I wonder how that happened??? They DO NOT stand behind their work or service what they install. Save yourself the aggravation and find a reputable company that stands behind their work AND services what they sell.

We just cannot say enough about how well this went. From the initial estimate to the final details was less than a week. We were told by Matt what to expect. His teams did just what he described. Craig followed up and took care of all the final details with great skill. Tobey and James were great about coordinating and answering questions. We can highly recommend Resurrection Pools.

Great!! I just bought a house 1700 miles away in florida and didn't know a soul. had to rely on angies list for a direction to go and who to hire. what a great decision on my part. I was skeptical at first with the 5 companies I interviewed but Matt was professional and knew his stuff. I was in MA while construction took place and had pictures emailed to us each step which was very assuring. When it came to the waterfall I had no clue on what I wanted and left it up to matt to design one for me after telling him what I had in mind. it came out great. the only problem was communication after the job was done. a few phone calls and no return calls unfortunately. all in all great job but a return call is appreciated which would assure me if there was a problem with the pool I would have a phone call to follow up with my issues.
