OK...this was a big job and the workers were getting tired toward the end. Cleanup could have been better. After they left I raked up two 35 gal trash cans full of debris, and pulled a 3 foot bundle of cut limbs out of the seagrape, but in my experience with tree trimming services this is about what you should expect, and the best you can hope for.

Crew arrived on time. Cut then ground a large stand of bamboo. They did a good job at that. Had issues with an employee that I won't go into because it is not worth the owner losing business over, that employee has been fired I am told. They missed a few stumps but came back and went over an area again, but missed stumps that I had pointed out. They did a good job, it was a horrendous bunch of bamboo, some over 40 ft tall, did not damage my roof or my neighbors.  

Best price found by far for tree work and slightly better for lot clearing. Expert, friendly tree crew. Good cleanup. At one point the chipper was exhausting into a neighbor's empty lot instead of the truck. Not right and told owner who changed back to feeding chips into truck. Several equipment issues were resolved quickly so job kept going. One stump had a large base and several cut pepper trees near it. Was not initially ground just below lot level but did so and nearby pepper stumps too (not part of quote) after I commented on this. So some of this stump was a lot of extra work to do as quoted but some was extra, uncharged work. Awkward to have to comment to get it done but it was done with no issue. Much appreciated professional response on this.
The sub-contracted lot clearing had issues. It was quoted as just like another guy would do for less, without knowing any details. The crew showed up a day early, having never been to the property or discussing job with me and started while we were not home. Got a call from Dave Jamison requesting I move my truck for them to continue work. Seeing early results I was not satisfied with the size of the ground up trees and got stiff resistance from one of the two on site. He called Dave Jamison and the other one, the operator, insisted he would do a job I'd be happy with. Dave came out and also said he'd be sure I was satisfied. The crew said they did way more than expected and I was reluctantly satisfied but was left with a lot of arm-sized and slightly smaller pieces I expected would be much smaller. Hauling it off rather than it being chips I could leave is another unexpected project. There was no written spec for any of this and I should have done that.

WE needed trees cut down and removed, and after dealing with a couple of gypsies, found this company. Did everything right, as asked and cleaned up, everything done properly and a a good price.
