Hughes Exterminators Port Charlotte - 5799417

I used Hughes Exterminators for my home's lawn care located in Cape Coral, FL for about 6 months. I noticed that I had a large amount of nutsedge weed in my lawn. I contacted Hughes to come out and treat the weed which they did. However, 2 days after the service call my entire yard turned brown and my grass was dead. Vinny the operations manager came out to my home to assess the damage and after consulting with his "lawn specialist" he concluded that their company's actions did not result in my lawn dying. They stated that the dying was due to the cooler temperatures!!! ***? So, only my lawn turns brown and dies and none of my neighbor's lawns turn brown due to the temperature? Total bologna!!! This company does NOT take responsibility for their employee's actions. I completely understand accidents happen; that's life. But to completely turn away from the damage they caused to my lawn and blame it on the weather is just insulting. I would NOT recommend Hughes Exterminators for lawn care to anyone I know.

All was awesome..the whole company is great..I give them Kudos for the consciousness they show when doing their incredible work!! It is a fearless experience guys...all prices quoted before work is done and amount due afterwards is the same price given..Hire these folks without fear...

I have had no problems. When I call them with a problem, They get right on top of it. The price is fair. I would use them again.

Been using them for 5 years and been happy with the service and price.  Only complaint might be that different techs provide service frequently.

I've been using their service on contract for termite inspection, yearly and yard pest quarterly.  They are prompt, efficient and use environmentally safe products wherever they can.

We are buying a home that currently has a Hughes termite contract with warranty.  When our home inspector found termite mud tubes, the current owner contacted Hughes for a followup.  Hughes inspector arrived the next day and determined the tubes were old and there was no live activity.I called the company on Monday to learn exactly what the warranty covered, what their new inspection found and what it all meant.  I spoke with Steve Bolden and I have rarely been as impressed as I was with the knowledge, friendliness and helpfulness of any contractor.  This was especially true since I wasn't even their customer.  We will certainly be continuing to do business with Hughes.

They are great.  They are always on time.

They are great.  They come whenever I call them and I haven’t had a bug since I’ve been using them.    

They seem to be pretty good and they keep the bugs down. They are very nice and cordial people. Their prices are good. We don't have appointments and they just come. They are very professional. We've used them for 3 or 4 years and will continue to use them.
