They showed us one slab of granite which we chose, then tried to tell us that we had chosen a different stone. Lucky for us I had taken a picture of the slab agreed on and of it's label. That delayed the install since they had to order more of the correct slab.  They then  would promise to install our countertops and then not show up. We would be waiting for them and hear nothing until we called them, only be told the install had been rescheduled. They cited a surge in business that was overwhelming them as the reason, but that does not excuse the total lack of communication from them. Once the correct slab was delivered and installed we were happy with the finished product.

We picked the granite slab from a wide range of pieces. The person helping with the selection was very knowledgeable, patient & helpful. The work was done on schedule & we were very pleased with the installation.. This totally transformed our kitchen. We had been looking at another company that made custom countertops, but not granite and the price was very similar.

They have the best price.  They pretty much got it done in the time they said it will be done.  Installation was fine; I didn't have any problems.

My wife and I wanted to remodel and expand our kitchen.  We had everything picked out except the granite counter top. We shopped stores from Bradenton south to Port Charlotte.  When I say we shopped, no stone was left un-turned, so to speak.  All the quotes we received for comparable granite installed was $8,000 to $10,000 for the complete job.  My wife found C R World Granite, which is now Granite Forever, USA.  It is still owned by the same family.  We went to their location which I was not impressed with when we arrived.  However, after speaking with the owner and the way she treated us, I wanted to look further into what they had to offer.  The owner and the sales person asked many questions about our home.  They wanted to know the feeling we were trying to create, what color where the cabinets, floors and walls.  What, if any under-cabinet lighting were we going to use.  They showed us many different slabs of stones, not just a small sample.  After several visits to the unassuming warehouse, my wife found the perfect slabs of granite.  Once we went into the office area, I let my wife talk to the owner and sales guy.  I took photos of all their business awards, certifications and articles that were on the wall.  I went home and researched the owner by name and tracked her back to Brazil.  Looking a little further I found a picture of her, her father, grandfather and brother.  The father and grandfather were listed as the owners of multiple stone mining operations dating back to the mid 1940's.  I also reviewed the ownership of the import company in Miami and Ft. Myers and found it to also be owned by the same family.  The salesman and an older Brazilian man came to the house and took all the measurements and created the templets before they left our house.  We were invited down to view the templets on each slab of granite.  They did this so we could be involved in bringing out the best part of the stone patterns based on location of the stone on the counter top.  We selected how we wanted it, along with their expert advise.  A week or so later, three young Brazilian men arrived with the salesman and our counter tops, trim and back-splash were complete.  They were neat, clean and very polite.  As a consumer, I look at the totality of the process and both my wife and I would recommend Granite Forever, USA to everyone.  Hands down, the best price by $3,000.  I attribute that to their ownership of the process from beginning to end with no middlemen fighting for profit margin.

We had this company recommended to us by a neighbor and then I looked up their rating on Angie's list.  Since both these sources gave good results, we decided to go with them.  The salesman stopped and told us exactly what would happen and emailed us a tentative price, depending on the granite we decided on.  We then went to Port Charlotte to pick out our slab of granite.  After that a man came and made a template to cut the granite.  Within 7 days of the template being made, they installed our granite.  We had a few minor problems, but the installers came back quickly and made everything right.  I would highly recommend this company.

It is hard for me to select colors. The people at CR World Granite took the time to help me with suggestions and advice. I was able to match my existing tile, appliances, and cabinetry with their help and it looks like the whole kitchen was put in at the same time. Another thing I liked was that they put my name on the exact slab that I chose (this was important because natural stone can vary quite a bit).
I really appreciate the fact that the estimates are open numbers. They didn't hide any fees or try to lure me in with a cheap square foot price, only to find out that there are extra charges for delivery and installation. I got 4 estimates from 4 different companies. All of them advertised cheaper square foot prie, but the total cost of the job was more expensive. CR World includes installation and fabrication in their square foot price, so their pricing is the bottom line price. It simplified the whole process.
The quality and selection of granite was better than at the other places I checked.
I was very happy with everything from start to finish. I love my new kitchen!!!

They had to put my install off for a day because of a problem that they had with another customers install.  Because I am retired it did not bother me, but if I had taken a day off from work to be there, I would have been a little upset to have lost a day of work.   I went to several places, and they matched the lowest price that I told them I was offered from another company.  I feel it was a good deal.  I would recommend them to anyone that is looking into granite counter tops. They installed the counters very quickly.
