Glen was very professional. He quoted a flat rate to install a garbage disposal. He had to rework the plumbing under the sink. He did not change any extra. I am very pleased with his work and price and I am having him come back to do other work.

I couldn't be more satisfied. Mr. Purdy collaborated with me frequently during the design phase and offered up considerations to insure I was completely happy with final product. His quality of work was totally amazing.

Mr. Purdy was very professional. I called him on four different occasions when I needed work done and he showed up promptly when he said he would. He did such a wonderful job. My new sink faucets are gorgeous and work wonderfully, he also replaced my drain and fill lines on my sinks as they were corroded. He installed a valve shut off to my fridge as there was not one when I moved into my house and subsequently flooded my house when I moved in on accident [So glad I have a reliable repairman to call when I need him!]. Mr. Purdy cleared my clogged shower lines and later replaced my water heater that was leaking. I also hired Mr. Purdy to build a deck in my backyard for my family. It is gorgeous! He is very professional and I know exactly who to call when I need any repairs or maintenance for my home. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

I couldn't be more happy. My new kitchen is a work of perfection. Mr. Purdy is a very talented contractor that has multiple skills in building, plumbing and design.

I called Mr. Purdy whom I have hired for previous work. He analyzed and came up with best solution to reroute water service bypassing corroded piping. His quoted price was very reasonable. My water pressure was so much improved. I am very happy.

Me. Purdy provided primpt service and I had hot water within a few hours. He quoted me an excellent price and actually charged me less. He gave me a military discount. Work area was cleaned up and old water heater removed.

Glen maintains our house and 2 rental properties.  He has done plumbing, remodeled 2 bathrooms and a kitchen, fixed leaks, and installed 2 new toilets.  He was here today to take down 3 flat screen TV's after a lightning strike.  He doesn't mind doing the small handyman jobs and has handled our large projects as well.  My husband is a retired contractor who appreciates the caliber of Glen's work.  We have always found Glen to be honest, reliable and reasonable.  He is a mason which we find to be of high caliber.

Totally unsatisfied.  Substandard work.  Had to have other contractors fix their work.  Attic access impossible as they cut the ceiling access hole so close to an attic beam that it couldn't be raised to enter attic space.  And this was discovered months after they left without telling us.  Dishonest.

In October of 2005 we contacted Mr. Purdy on remodeling we wanted done. In November of 2005 we signed contracts for the work. We later signed a contract with a pool company to install a pool, deck and cage that would be attached to remodeled Florida room and new addition. Purdy was aware of this and that he would need to have his portion done to the point that the pool contractor could attach the cage, etc., to the addition. In march of 2006, the pool contractor was ready to attach the cage, etc., to the structure. Purdy had not done any work at all on the home, nor had he even gotten the blue prints, engineers opinion, which were necessary to apply to the county for building permits. When asked why the delay, he blamed everyone else except himself, as he was the general contractor and could or would not give an estimate of how long we would have to delay the pool contractors finishing the pool. His lack of action and concern led us to abandon the addition but we still intended to proceed with the Florida room remodeling. We changed plans with the pool contract at a significant cost and the had the pool project completed. Purdy came back a few days later with a new contract on the Florida room remodeling at a substantially higher price. He would not honor the original contract and refused to give us any credit for the $3,000 we had already paid him. His justification was that the contracts contained a non refundable clause concerning our deposit. He wanted us to sign a new contract and give him an additional $1,500.00 non refundable deposit. This would amount to paying him almost 50% of the total remodeling job on the Florida room. We would not sign the new contract and he has refused to honor the original contract. Although we have made repeated attempts to settle this matter, he refuses to honor the contract of give us any of our money back. WE have requested that he send us a list of any costs he incurred, but he refuses to do so or provide any blue prints or proof that he ever did intend to do the work he contracted to do. If you decide to do business with this person, which I would strongly discourage, make sure you examine the contract carefully for the non refundable clause and make sure it contains performance criteria for the contractor. Although I did get letters of reference, I now believe they were from good friends and relatives.
