Gardiner & Sons Moving

The Gardiner & Sons team was amazing! I had them help rearrange two rooms, and take large items to be donated. They actually stopped at 3 other houses to pick up donations from my family. One member donated a mattress, and Trevor Gardiner was a wealth of knowledge as to where it would be accepted (most donation centers here won't take a mattress). Trevor showed superhuman strength, singlehandedly carrying out an 8-foot lanai table! Four homes were improved, and a lot of stuff went into the second-hand world for another life.

They were awesome every step of the way.

What could have been a nightmare of logistics turned into a seamless process with Gardiner providing exceptional service. They packed all our furniture one day, held everything on the truck, then delivered all to our new property 2 days later. They did everything exactly the way they promised. Nothing was broken, scratched or lost. All that perfectly on time and quickly.

Gardiner and Sons was one of 4 companies I contacted off Angie's list to give me quotes to move my father's household from Fla to Tx, all were contacted at the same time within the same time frame. Kenny Gardiner (owner) was the first to respond to my email and had his son Victor out the next day to go thru & inventory what they would be moving. My father & I boxed or emptied everything we were taking. Another company came the next day, one never responded, and one gave us a quote over the phone. While Gardiner & Sons were not the cheapest they weren't the most expensive either they were right in the middle with there pricing which I thought was very fair they also have a 10% coupon on Angie's list. My Dad and I were on a very tight timeline I had a little less than two weeks to get movers booked and the truck loaded. Victor came took inventory and told me how fragile items would be wrapped or boxed he was very, very personable and professional & answered my questions. Victor was quite certain he could lock in the dates I needed the movers to pick up & unload in Tx but it wasn't set in stone. Kenny promptly emailed the estimate the problem with all the movers was getting my dates locked in. It took all the movers about a week to get back with me about the dates (they need to see what else will be going that way before they commit). This was the only stressful part while I understood the need to fill the trucks my time clock was ticking & very fast. My Dad really liked Victor and wanted to work with a smaller family owned company so I called Kenny a little stressed (really a lot stressed) to see if they would be able to make the dates happen for me and he then told me he would have Victor get right back with me and Victor did and he assured me he would make my dates happen. As promised the move team came on the right day at the right time and packed up the truck. There were three of them all really hard working and very careful with my Dads belongings. It was hot & humid morning and they busted it out in about two to three hours the truck was loaded. Victor drove the truck from Fla to Tx and as luck would have it it was when the horrible rains were happening in Louisiana. Victor called me periodically with updates and eta's. At one point he thought he may be a day late but he ended up getting to my home early driving thru that horrible rain storm. Victor & his helper moved all the furniture and placed it where I wanted if I had pieces that needed to be moved they moved them. Nothing was broken or lost they did an amazing job and I thank Victor so much for taking such pride in his families business and his own work ethic, he was such a huge help to me at a very stressful time. I am happy to report my Dad is all moved in with me we finished unpacking the last box yesterday! It's so nice to have my Dad living in Texas with me Thanks to Gardiner & Sons for helping me get it done, Warm Regards Lisa Hall

It went really well.  They were on time and worked continually till the job was done.  They packed half of the boxes ( the ones I had not packed) and moved a full 1800 sq ft house and drove to St. Petersburg and moved me in, in one day.  Very professional and there was no hassle or confusion on what had to be done.  I would recommend this moving company to anyone who is thinking of moving they are phenomenal.

Movers were very professional and efficient.   Would definitely use them again and refer others to use this company.

Kenny's quote for services was not honored by the delivery person. He flat out refused to do what his boss quoted us. Very poor service and a very bad attitude. Unprofessional delivery person! I can't recommend them based on this employee's behavior towards us and our request that he do the job as quoted. I do feel if we had Kenny, the owner, as our delivery person it would have went better.

Kenny and his team were amazing! I called last minute for a Labor Day weekend move as my prior plans fell through. Kenny advised that he would be able to have movers for me and would make it happen and he did. He was in constant communication with me and he and his team could not have been more professional and nice to work with. He was able to store my belongings in his storage facility and all of my items were tagged and listed. If you need to move anything, call Kenny and his team. They are wonderful and you will not be disappointed!

The planning and actual move went off without a hitch. Kenny and his truck were there on time with all the equipment and materials needed for a smooth operation. Furniture was moved from the 4th floor of a condo building without any difficulty. Delivery at the new address was smooth and efficient.
