They never called like they said they would. They claimed there was no outage in my area but there must have been because by the end of the day it corrected itself.

Both TV and internet service were mostly reliable as long as we didn't have a power interruption. However, when we did have a problem or question, the reaction from the COMCAST staff was not what you should expect considering the rates they charge. We have lived in several locations and have experienced several cable service companies. COMCAST is not the worst nor are they the best provider we've experienced. However, they are the most expensive considering the provided services. We no longer use the COMCAST TV service. For our needs, DirectTV is a much better price/performer and is "portable"/transportable between our winter and summer homes. Also, COMCAST is not available at our summer home. Where we live during the winter, there are no reasonable alternatives to the COMCAST internet service and it still provides reliable (although expensive) service. I am using their service as I compose this report and we will continue to use their internet service unless problems occur.

To wrap it up numerous phone calls...2 bills and no service.. I will have to contact the other internet provider in Cape Coral.. hopefully by the end of next week I'll have internet. Does Comcast live in the 21 century.. wow what a disappointment on all levels.

I have had this company for several years because it has been the competition has been very weak. However, I'm fast getting to the point where doing without service is a almost worth not having internet.
There are far too many details to recite, but the bottom line is that a year ago this month I tried to modify my service by dropping my home phone service. Not one single bill since then has been correct. I've had multiple technicians to my house, which I've then had to fight with Comcast about because they tried to charge me for one of the visits, even though the technician had had to reconnect a connection one of the previous techs had left undone. And we were getting weekly prime time blackouts and were having to try to keep up with the shows we watch by watching them online. I do NOT pay for cable service to sit around the computer screen!
When I finally had enough last October, I cancelled the cable service and got Dish. The only service I'm supposed to still have with Comcast is internet.
That was October, we are now in January. Do you think they've gotten a single bill right since I cancelled the service? NOPE! First bill was an "error" they were supposed to correct on the next bill. Not only were there no corrections on the next bill, but they still charged me for a bundle service again.
Now they are slapping me with three months of late fees for not paying the money I never owed them in the first place, plus the services they say they provided, regardless of whether I wanted them.
Yeah. Avoid this company if you can help it.

Their pricing is high but they provide us with fast internet. When I have had difficulties I can call their computer hotline to reset my computer without talking to a service representative which has been helpful.

The only thing that makes it great is they provide service in my area. They have a higher download speed. The only other thing you can get here is satellite Internet and that's always slower. I use a lot of videos and stuff like that. They were high-speed. They don't do anything bad. They're there. I have no complaint about them. In the price range, they're not the lowest. Their installers were here on time. They did the job. They're personable. They don't do anything more than they have to.

Several things I dislike about them and a couple of them are that they offer a poor offering for what you pay and there is a lot of just pure garbage on. The price is horrifyingly high and I give them a C rating. the quality of the picture is good but the programming is bad. They do responsive and they have been punctual.
