BILL'S SHOE REPAIR

@ years ago, Bill had repaired shoes for me. Since no one could tell me of a local [lace to have my luggage repaired, I thought that I would call Bill. On Thursday afternoon, I called & was told that he'd have to see the luggage, before guaranteeing that it could be repaired. On Friday at 2 PM, I brought in the 2 cases. Bill said that he could take care of them & would call me back. At 5 PM that same day, Bill called. He said that he found a tear in the case & glued it back together & then hand sewn it. Three hours after I gave Bill my luggage, he had fixed both wheels & took care of a problem that I had missed. All of this was done so quickly & for only $45.00 total. It's just a small little shop on the side of a strip mall, but he gives great, fast & great service for a very reasonable price.

Bill is the Craftsman you want repairing your shoes or leather goods. He took a pair of (relatively) expensive New Balance kids sneakers with the stitching come undone at the toes - due to the child learning to climb trees - and glued, restitched, polished and GUARANTEED! the work would not come undone if the child climbed every tree in the forest. Excellently. Had previously taken boots to other repair shops but since they only glued the soles they came loose again. Bill however not only glued but strategically stitched the soles on and further stated that should they somehow ever come loose again he would fix them for free. I took them in at 8:30 am and was told they would be ready by 4:00 pm; Bill called at 1:45 to let me know they were ready for pickup. He did a great job on my computer bag; reinforced all the straps and it was ready the next day. For the sewing machine, I was ready to scrap it. I thought it was beyond repair. To my surprise, he said it only needed cleaning and oiling ($30). He instructed me on how to store it to keep it dust-free and told me it was a very good quality machine (I didn't know, I bought it for $15 on Craigslist). That was finished the next day as well. Highly recommend this shop!
