There were a number of issues with the house and repairs.  Our agent Paula simply just forwarded service requests to us & largely we had to handle all of these issues.  In one case, my wife had to buy a dishwasher over the internet from Home Depot and then schedule delivery with the renters.  I don't believe Playa or Paula went out to our house to even investigate more than 2 or 3X in 3 years.  We would get an email from Paula - then "how do you want to proceed?"  I think the renters tired of contacting her and getting transferred to us.  This was the biggest waste of money.  I had a co-worker visit our house & she told me it needed to be pressure washed.  My co-worker actually talked to the renters.  We returned to an extremely dirty house, gouged hardwood floors from a desk roller chair that the renters didn't bother getting a roller pad for.  Our AC looked like the same filter had been in it for 2+ years, trees were growing out of our gutters, and about 40% of my lawn was dead.  Questioning why I bothered paying anyone.  Paula (La Playa) gave the renters all of their deposit back.
We met for check out with Paula 2 days ago.  When we informed her of all of this, we got a blank stare with "so is there anything else"?
Find someone else or make sure you know the agent before going with Playa.
