Ron began to remove the old Diamond Brite finish applied by Olympic Pools in 2001 and soon after he began he discovered that the bonding agent required was not applied by Olympic Pools. That failure caused pockets to be formed under the surface of the Diamond Brite. This bonding agent is gray in color and there was none anywhere in the pool. We negotiated the amount of extra cost for the labor to chisel out the pockets and make the necessary repairs prior to applying the new coating. He proceeded and suggested we allow him to add a few custom treatments. He showed us the options and we accepted them. He then completed the job totally to our satisfaction and cleaned the site every day before he left. All in all an excellent experience.
