He came out and he did the work for me. He first came out and gave me a proposal. I tried to get in touch with him a few times. I went through the proposal and made a few modifications. I figured out he was overcharging me, so I changed the contract. I told him I don't need all those pavers and I changed the price. He read it and signed it. He rang me and he was angry that I changed the price. The pavers were delivered, but they colour was wrong. He disagreed. He wanted an extra 500 dollars to try to sell the pavers that were the wrong colour and to purchase more. The workers arrived and they were supposed to put in concrete in first, but they only used sand. I had to keep announcing what to do. They were Brazilian and spoke little English. He kept complaining that I owed him this and that. He was complaining that I owed him more money. The following day I woke up and noticed all the pavers had gone. They were gone. I rang and asked him to return them and he got angry and denied taking them. When he finished I thought it looked nice and I asked him, when he would be sealing them. He said this was not necessary. I have to get someone else now to seal it. The rate was reasonable for the job. When he came and gave me a speech about how wonderful he was and gave me a reasonable estimate I hired him.
