Pride is the most mismanaged company around. It takes them forever to show up and when they do they are totally unprepared to correct the problem. When you call them you get the famous run-around. Nobody should ever use them.

Service Contract Experience : Annual Cost $474 w/ sales tax April 7 - Submitted work order via their website for washer repair. April 23 - After receiving no response, I used the text message feature on the website. Larry responsed and found my initial request. He advised his team would conduct a thorough review and promptly resolve the issue as to why no one contacted me. April 26 - I text Larry. He's still waiting for a final update from the team. April 29 - Tech arrives to fix the washer. Advises that he has to order a part. Should take about a week to arrive. May 3 - Text Larry for that final update. No response. May 8 - Text Larry again. No response. I m beginning to think there is no team and Larry is a robot. - As for that part, it's been 9 days with no contact.

This company failed to install HVAC heat in my property. They improperly installed my Nest thermostat. A five hour window for service calls are unacceptable. Poor customer service, and rude management. I had to send four emails and make three phone calls just to cancel my service contract. I had to go with one of their competitors. Pride, you have no pride and you should change your name.

The company came out under the agreement that I pay $99 for a water heater replacement quote. Payment was made and I never received the quote I paid for. After multiple inquiries, they told me they were “declining” the job (apparently too complicated for them). Any plumbing contractor would do this simple job. These scam artists who claim to be plumbing experts are clearly not so. Avoid this dishonest company at all cost.

In June 2021 we made decision to have our Trane AC system replaced and an extra vent added to a bedroom. We met with several companies for estimates and decided on Pride based upon price and complete package to add venting. We had the AC replaced and under initial appointment for install they would not install vent. We paid in full over 6000. We then had to follow up multiple times and have multiple appointments for additional bedroom vent. The vent never got installed and we finally gave up and settled for a less than satisfactory resolve. We then had to deal with permits and their failures. Three times we had to deal with appointments and rejections as their Permit Manager failed to file the permit correctly with correct information . It took until October 2021 We asked for a small resolve for all the time off and appointment that we covered due to their mistakes, and never received any resolve. They simply were paid in full 4 months prior and had moved on without completing our experience.

Pride A/C Disappointment. I have an annual maintenance service contract with Pride A/C. They came out two months ago. I called them today because now I'm experiencing the same issues they "supposedly" fixed, and come to find out they were sent under another order not covered by my maintenance service contract i paid for last time. I guess they decided what I needed when I clearly stated I wanted the maintenance service. Blowing out the lines, checking the Freon, and other points they cover under this. Well now I understand all the additional charges they gave me two months ago - Floater switch and they included charging me for the blowing of the line too. The line blowing should be part of maintenance. When the tech said he was done my husband had to ask if he was going to check the filter and the answer was, oh yeah. So just two months later experiencing same issues. My question was will they stand behind their work? he answer was... No. I can schedule my ESA tune up, and they can come out sometime in late September. I felt as if they could care less and I experienced a complete and utter lack of Customer Service. Plus when I first called to get to the above point I had the phone transferring run around! I get the Contracts Department first while waiting a good 10 minutes. Opps wrong department - he would transfer me. I get the scheduling department the young man on the phone through yawns said I needed the Contracts Department - he would transfer me. Then I get a lovely lady over the phone who explained last time the visit was not what I was contracted for! Maybe that explains the additional charges from the Pride A/C. I politely asked her they were going to send someone out to check and see why whatever they fixed 2 months ago is doing the same thing, and the answer was no, sorry there is nothing I can do. Don't get me wrong this lady was very professional, because she politely put it across to a paying customer there is nothing they can do for me. Wow, just wow. I have another service call left out of my two, or maybe I should have two out of my two because who knows what they considered the last time they were there. I just consider it a rip-off. I will move on to another company, pay for another annual maintenance service contract. I just want what I was led to believe I paid for. DON'T FALL FOR IT WITH PRIDE A/C FOLKS! ASK AND QUESTION ALL THE FAKE PROMISES AND MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GETTING IN WRITING.

Great deal and excellent customer service! I replaced 2 very old AC units (circa late 90s) and got quotes from 4 different AC companies. Pride had the best quote for the type of system I wanted (2 stage). Ed in sales was informed and always returned my calls and emails (could not say this about bigger companies). Pride sent 2 trucks to get the job done in one day. I did have a problem with my Nest thermostat, and Ian (very knowledgeable) was able to diagnose a short my old stat wires. He came back with a crew to run new wires and it works great now! Pride has definitely earned my business, and I will continue to use Pride for future maintenance as well. Well done!

From my initial call to the completion of the A/C installation I was very pleased with the service I received from Pride. My A/C unit hangs from the ceiling in my garage. It was a big job. The two guys who did the installation arrived right on schedule. (Yay!) Both men were very courteous. They worked as a team. Very meticulous and took pride in a job well done. Oh! I don't want to forget to mention Frank. He was the salesman I spoke with. He listened and was very patient answering my many questions. But more importantly to me. Not only did he answer my questions but he built my trust giving me thorough explanations. Until now on my laptop I had been trying to give my review on my cell phone. It took me a few months to figure out I needed to submit review from a computer and not my phone. LOL. None the less it was a notable positive experience. Should a need arise I highly recommend Pride Air Conditioning and Appliance Inc.

Everyone was very professional and they did a great job and had the lowest price of 3 quotes. The only minor issue was that it took 2 months to get the permit closed although 2 weeks of that was delayed due to hurricane Irma. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

They arrived on time and spent the entire day installing the system along with adding an extra vent that I asked for. Great workers along with the salesman Steve. One week later the duct crew arrived to clean the ductwork. Completely happy with the job.

The people were arrogant demanding new appliances for the contract . They did not care that the appliances had been under contact since I was an owner . If you want to redo your appliances and get new ones this is the company for you . They will give you a good deal when the appliances are under a Man warrantee , but who need them , when everything is new . The point is I do not think they can fix older appliances as this is the case for all of us- everything gets old.

I wanted someone that is relatively close to Oakland Park. The gentleman came over and did what he was supposed to. He didn't really do a whole lot. I guess the drainage systems get clouded up here because of the high humidity. He took care of that, but the coils have to be cleaned, and he said that was a pretty big deal. He said he couldn't do it that day. I don't think he was able to do the work right then because it is a two person job. He called the office, and I was only paying for a service call, and he talked to them about the price of cleaning the coils. I thought the price was very high. They said I needed a contract. I asked how much a contract was and she said I had to call the sales department. I told her the guy was here now and that she could connect us to the sales department. She said I had to call back. I said, "Fine, maybe I'll call somebody else". That's what my attitude was. I have not pursued it. I just felt that she should've transferred the call to someone that maybe I would've got a contract and been done with it. I still don't have the coils clean. She said it was $340 to clean the coils without the contract, and like $50 if I did have the contract. She was not helpful in finding me what the contract would cost. I was sort of frustrated with her. 

I called on a Monday and scheduled it for a Wednesday. I like to get these appointments earlier in the day. The day of the appointment they call me an hour before the technician is supposed to be here. She said they were short staffed and wanted to send a technician out the next day. She said people called in sick and that didn't really go over well with me. I thought I would give them a chance because it was going to be another two days before I got somebody else out here. I didn't like that they called an hour before to postpone the appointment. If it would've been a major repair, I would've been upset, but it was just maintenance. It didn't leave a good taste in my mouth for my first experience with them. 

He was very cordial, very respectful, and competent. He said it needed a deeper cleaning than the general maintenance. I am a big believer in if it's not broke, don't fix it. The price was average. It was $80 for one visit. A competing firm was going to charge $150, but they were going to offer two visits, which I usually do, and in hindsight I wish I had. 

The technician was professional but the representative on the phone threw that in the dumpster. 

The technician was good, he was here when he was supposed to. I just didn't like the management. I would probably look somewhere else before calling them again.

Our air conditioning system wasnt only not working, it was flooding our server work station! I called several air conditioning repair companies and Pride not only showed up on time but fixed the entire system! They were the only ones out of 4 companies that didn't try to sell me things I didn't need, but charged me a very fair price and fixed the problem. I would highly recommend Pride Air Conditioning to any commercial or residential client.
