Kevin sent out Patrick and Art. They surveyed inside and out. They thought best course of action would be to cut a small square in the inside drywall, so they could set a snap trap, which they did on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. The next morning, I checked the trap and there was a nice sized Curly-Tail Lizard, that had “bought the farm.” After removing him, I reset the trap. The rest of the week, nothing else was caught and the scratching, behind the wall had stopped. Could not give you the cost, so I put down $1.00. The Association will discuss the cost with the Vendors. So, very happy with Patrick and Art. They were right on time, very personable, and did a very professional job. Thanks also to Bill McGuire from Pest Relief, as he made it all happen. It’s good to have quality Contractors, with good communication and excellent customer service. My wife and I greatly appreciated their professionalism..

Had to have them come back in four day to retreat and they didnt keep us in there system so when we called for them to come back months later they needed proof we where there customer

I hired them because of their competitive prices. They were our indoor and outdoor pest control for about 4-5 months. Their pest control is ineffective and their communication very unprofessional. I fired them after five months because I was seeing roaches and other indoor pests daily. Additionally, my grass was mostly weeds, even after almost 5 months of treatment (and that VERY expensive and quot;initial treatmentand quot;). Additionally, Bill is very unresponsive: he did not return my phone calls pretty much at all-- in order to talk to him I had to call him 2 and 3 days in a row. He also did not show up to set up meetings in more than one occasion (and did not call to cancel).

We were having problems with spiders, ants and the occasional palmetto bugs. I called them and spoke to Bill the owner and he was very pleasant to deal with. He explained everything and said he could have a technician out when it was convenient for us. We made the appt. and William, the tech, called apprx. a half hour before to say he was on his way. He arrived on time and took his time to explain to us what was needed to be done. He was very respectful in and about our home. One of the most important things I learned was to find and seal, caulk,etc. anywhere the bugs would have an easy way to get in, like around plumbing pipes, door jambs,etc.,which i did. Since the initial visit a few months ago we have seen a HUGE difference. Spiders and ants are gone and the only palmettos we found were already dead. We now have them come out to service our house on a regular schedule since the results have been great. William and Sean have been our techs and they are both nice guys to deal with. We are most definitely happy and plan on keeping Pest Relief as our pest control provider.

Let me say first, I tried finding reviews on Angies List about brown dog tick problems and was unsuccessful. Seeing reviews about similar issues before contacting a company is a time and money saver.
From the beginning, Bill was very professional and flexible with setting up the first appointment. He has a lot of knowledge about the brown dog tick and how to get control of it. When I moved in to the neighborhood May of 2012, I had no idea the ticks were a major problem. In fact, its a big problem all over south Florida. Our poor Shepherd:-(
The first appointment, Bill came out to fog/spray the inside and outside. We had to leave the house for about 4 hours. Over the next 2 weeks I noticed a difference in the amount of ticks I was finding. Specifically the problem areas were behind/under the furniture and throw rugs. Bill and an assistant came back the second time and did the same thing except Bill applied a heavier spray to the yard. It was after this visit, that I noticed a huge difference. I went from pulling 2-3 ticks every other day off my dog to 1 tick about every 7 days. I wasn't finding ticks behind the couch anymore or under the rugs. A final routine visit was done for spraying the inside and outside. To this day, I can honestly say I'm not pulling anymore ticks off my dog or finding them in the house.
We have a peaceful house again. There is no more aching backs from spending hours on the floor with my dog pulling ticks off. No more moving furniture and pulling rugs up. I've learned so much about these pests. If you think you can control these pests by yourself, your going to be wasting money and time. Let Pest Relief give you relief:-)

I hired Pest Relief to exterminate my residence because I was seeing palmetto bugs every once in a while. As part of the initial service, Bill told me he would spray the inside and outside of the home as well as dust the entire perimeter of the attic with an insecticide. He also told me that if I see any issues within 60 days that they will return to retreat. At the end of the initial visit, he told me he completed his service and asked for payment, however, he never went into the attic at all to dust, as promised. When I mentioned this, he stuck his head in the attic for about a minute, but never dusted the perimeter. Nonetheless, I paid him in full. A few days later, I saw a few dead roaches (which is to be expected), and a few live ones as well (which is not expected). I called him back, and explained that I was still having issues and that if he can return to retreat. I also told him that I was disappointed that he did not dust the perimeter of the attic as promised. He told me that he will have one one of his technicians stop by the next Monday. Monday went by, and I never heard from anybody. When I called him to see why, he did not answer my call or return my voice mail. When I called him a few days later from a different number he picked up, but when he recognized it was me, he rudely hung up. I was always polite to him, so I had no clue what I could have done to upset him. A few days later I received a letter from him in the mail: and quot;Please be advised that Pest relief will no longer provide you with your pest control service…and quot;. In it, he explains that he did not like that I questioned him about the attic, and that he did not like that I asked him for a quote (in which he quoted me $125 for the initial visit), without first telling him I have a $20 Angie's List coupon. The words he used were and quot;You knew what you were doing by jewing me down.and quot;
I have never felt the need to leave a negative review for a business before. But because of the truly horrible service I have received (I paid him in full for an initial service, which includes a 60 day guarantee, yet I still have roach issues and he refuses to return to retreat), and because of the offensive ethnic slur he used in his letter to me I felt the need to warn other customers.

From first phone call to our follow-up, service was professional, punctual and wonderful. Sean was very knowledgeable about the issue and we were very happy with the outcome. They scheduled our followup and arrived as promised. Found the price was extremely reasonable as well.

We are pleased with Pest Relief. Working with Bill McGuire and his son gave us the results expected for our ant problem. We would definitely recommend them and would certainly not hesitate to call them again. The actual work was only delayed a day because of the rain. They also sprayed all through the house and outside.

Dealing With Bill we have found that he offers super service, great quality work and Fantastic competive pricing. They eliminated the white fly on our Ficus hedge ,saved our palm tree from frizzle top and totally restored our Ligustrom tree. On the initial visit Bill McGuire came to our house to apply the ant spray. When he sprayed the interior, I felt that he was hurried as he sprayed the bathrooms and neglected to tell us to remove toothbrushes and other personal items. We had to replace our toothbrushes (which are electrical), causing us to buy new heads. When he sprayed the kitchen area, the fumes from the spray spread into the drawers where our kitchen towels are located. It would have been better to let us know what we needed to remove beforehand.
About 2 weeks later, we inform him that we still had an ant problem. He sent out one of his representatives to reapply the spray. The representative told us that this application should be good for approximately 2 months. Three weeks later we still had the ant problem. I called Bill to tell him that we still had a problem. I requested him to come out again., Since our problem wasn't resolved, I wanted to clarify that there wouldn't be a charge. He agreed and told me he would call me back. I never received a call from him. After calling several times I gave up.
About 2 weeks later, we inform him that we still had an ant problem. He sent out one of his representatives to reapply the spray. "My name is Bill McGuire and I am the owner of Pest Relief Inc. I was not going to dignify a respond to this customers complaint but as I read all my other reports I think I should at this time. My Angie's List reports speak for themselves as to our service that we provide the community and our professionalism. I was called to this customers house for Ghost Ant elimination. After initial consultation I found that this customer had some personality issues. Being in this type of business you meet all kinds of personalities. There has not been any insect problem that I have not been able to solve. Nor has there been any personality that I have not been able handle. The member was by far a little out there. I was not able to treat behind electrical outlets because she caulked all of them so no entry could be made for treatment or for ants to enter. I told the customer that she had to remove the outlets to insure the best results. The customer followed me throughout the home during my treatment and inspection. Sanitation was poor. I spent an hour at the home inspecting and making treatments inside and outside. Pest control companies do not treat counter space as it is illegal and would contaminate that food surface area.. At no time did we treat around her toothbrushes or her linens. I say this because I provided the initial service visit.This would certainly be unprofessional and illegal.. And as I stated before, the member followed me around the house. After the initial visit I recommended to her to clean food material from counters and remove caulking from electrical outlets. Also there were cracks around windows that needed to be sealed to prevent entry and this was not done either. On the second visit we found that she did not do as we requested. We retreated as best we could, at no additional charge and informed the member that a guarantee can not be given due to the fact that our recommendations were not met. She was not happy with my response. Her husband then called 2 weeks later and requested another visit. I asked if they completed our recommendations and he said no, but he wanted Pest Relief to come out anyway because I was paid. I then said no further visits will be made unless they do their part to help. In order to eliminate an insect issue, customer cooperation is needed. This a partnership. We did our part, she did not. I will personally do anything necessary to solve a problem to make a customer happy even it it means losing money. I take exceptional pride in my work and it shows with the reports that I receive. I have been practicing pest control in Broward County for 30 years and I have never lost a customer due to poor service. NEVER!"

Bill McGuire has years of experience in South Florida, and it shows in his work. He individualizes his treatment for the customer, and his plan remedied my rodent problem. His prices were reasonable, and I would not hesitate to hire him for future jobs.

Overall I am very pleased with the outcome. From beginning to end they were professional, accommodating, knowledgable, courteous, punctual and accomplished the job. I was skeptical at first, not understanding the need for a 2 phase process, but it makes sense in hindsight and it worked! I will definitely use them again.

We have a problem with fruit rats and he takes care of that as well as keeping me pest free. Bill is Johnny-on-the-spot and completely reliable when I need his help. He is always timely with appointments and I would never use anyone else. I know I can count on him.

They did an estimate and took care of our problem. Overall, it was good. They were able to come out at the last minute and they got the job done quickly. They are good for last minute and they are reliable. We would use their services in the future too.
