We purchased and had installed a new AC unit in June of 2024 (costing us $9,000). Within the first month, we had to call Lindstrom air due to excessive condensation and clogging of the lines twice). Val was our point of contact during purchase, install and permitting stage which took almost 3 months. During the year we had the unit, we had issues with the drainage lines clogging multiple times, some of their own technicians stating that the drainage line was too long and some mentioning this was a common problem. Luckily at that time, we were still within the first year. Fast forward to 6/20/2025 8am, I called Lindstrom air as our AC disconnected and was not functioning since the previous night (around 10/11pm). The woman I spoke to was very short with me when I asked for the soonest appt which was 6/21/2025. I had asked if there was anything sooner and she asked me why I didn’t call them sooner. I accepted the appt and asked to be called if anything sooner became available. At 10am I received a call from another woman from Lindstrom air stating that after speaking to my husband they would be able put us in between 11am/1pm that day however I would be charged at least $99 for diagnostics and then the service minus the $99 as we are outside our first year. I explained to her that our AC was placed June 2024 and that we believe the problem is the pipe being clogged again as it has done so many times in the past. Their team just came out in March for regular scheduled maintenance which I had kept on top of. Their technician came and unclogged the system like we anticipated and we were charged $251. I pleaded my case with the technician and was informed he would speak to the office. He also mentioned that this is a common problem due to humidity (WE LIVE IN FLORIDA). So apparently with Lindstrom you will pay $9000 for a brand new recommended unit, be informed of issues after the fact, lines too long, frequent clogging resulting in non-functioning AC (especially in the summer due to humidity), and then to be charged $251 to fix. For reference, they replaced a unit from 2008 that I only had to service once in the 5 years I owned it (came with home when we moved in 2020). This is utterly disappointing and almost feels like robbery and a scam. BEWARE, you may think you’re upgrading with Lindstrom, but you’re actually setting yourself up for an expensive quarterly “fix” on that brand new unit.

I am very satisfied with the company! Honest, reliable team of professionals. Used for over 10 years and worth every penny. A little expensive in the beginning but you get what you pay for. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) has been excellent; Trane equipment very reliable.

Every time Lindstrom comes to my home, it reinforces the decision to trust them with my A/C and plumbing needs.

The drip pan in my Trane air handler cracked, causing the condensation water to leak. Lindstrom identified the problem and ordered a replacement. The part, but not the labor, was under warranty. When the part arrived, it took the serviceman about one hour to do the replacement. I was then charged $1,487.50 for this one-hour repair. When I called Lindstrom to correct this overcharge, they said that it was their standard charge for this repair, and it was not based on the time it actually took. I spoke to a manager in the service department, and was told that they would not make any reduction of the charge. In summary, Lindstrom charged me $1,487.50 for a one-hour repair, and so I urge everyone to avoid the Lindstrom Air Conditioning & Plumbing company.

Everything went smoothly. The technician was proficient in his tasks.

Other than an early morning attempt by the scheduling person to re-schedule appointment (made 6 months ago) all was just fine. This was the second appointment of an annual maintenance contract.

Right on time and very efficient.

The service I received from the Lindstrom technician was spectacular. He explained everything he did step by step and made recommendations for future service. The technician was very friendly and respectful. I highly recommend him and the company.

Run as fast as you can to another AC company. Lindstrom was gutted of their former high quality service when they were bought by a private equity company last year. If you read only this - know this wrecked their 'family run' business into a profit only oriented company (who cares about the customer?!?). I scheduled Lindstrom to have a tech come do their $129 annual service appointment, which quickly turned into a HARD SELL for a new AC system even though mine is functioning I just wanted a piece of mind. No actual service was done. After the appointment, I tried calling for help at their office, after 4 times being told I'd get a call back and never got one I contacted my Credit Card company and they opened a dispute. A few days later, magically Lindstrom called me, apologized and offered a refund and the dispute was closed out. Great... then the H*** started. A month and a half later they sent me to collections for the unpaid, refunded, service that was not completed. Lovely. I tried calling them 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 times to get ahold of someone over a weeks time to sort it out. "We'll have a supervisor call you" never to get a call. After doing some searching online asking leadership names at the company I got someone to call. And once again, I got negotiated to pay for the service I didnt actually get... again. Fine, I paid the bill and they promised they'd sort out the collections and I could move past this insanity AGAIN. Nearly 2 months later ANOTHER collections notice, they never informed the company (per them) that the account was paid up. Another 5 calls to lindstrom, promised call backs, over a week no go. The collections agency finally stepped in, after a plea to them, magically Lindstrom calls me and closes it out. Needless to say, unless you're buying a new AC from them, they don't care about the customer, good luck getting ahold of anyone, and generally they are just terrible to deal with. Oh and as a customer just looking for service, be ready to get sold something you dont need. Finallly, please hope you don't land in a viscious h*** like I did going in circles with them, wasting 10-15 hours sorting out phone calls to close out a bill for a service not even rendered. Please, I wouldnt have written this if I didnt care about the next customer, please try a different company, they are not the same company as they were a year ago. They do not care about you as the customer.

They came to do maintenance on a perfectly running unit. The unit stops working when he does maintenance. They made me pay for replacement part that he broke. I will never hire them again. This is how they treat a 13 year customer.

Had some water leaks at the hose bibbs. Kevin, came quickly and was able to take care of the problem. He was also very helpful in providing advice. Would definitely recommend them.

This was a semi annual service call. I have a service contract for 2 maintenance visits per year. The technician Chad, was very professional and friendly and even educated me on a few items. The visit was pleasant and very efficient. I think Chad did a great job.

Lindstrom recently serviced one of our two HVAC systems for non-functioning AC. The tech who initially visited for the assessment was polite, professional and explained things to me without being condescending. Lindstrom sent 3 service people for the actual repair a few days later and they worked about 5 hours outside during chilly rainy weather. They too were professional and courteous. Turned out that what was repaired was not the actual issue--it was something actually much more simplistic. I truly felt bad for all the work the service team provided and their time here. The actual issue (a seemingly functioning but still problematic thermostat) was fixed in 20 minutes. Lindstrom did not charge me for the unnecessary work that was initially done. I continue to highly recommend Lindstrom--mistakes do happen and they made it right.

I have been a long-time customer of Lindstrom AC & Plumbing, have trusted them with my AC system, and have been very satisfied with their installation and service work. They installed my AC system 11 years ago and that went well. Since then they have done semi-annual visits to maintain it. Also they have promptly responded when it had some operation problems, and resolved them quickly and thoroughly. Recently, the system’s cooling function failed; a service technician arrived shortly afterward, determined the cause, and gave me an estimate of the cost to repair. I decided instead to have them install a new system. I highly recommend them to everyone who wants a company you can depend on.

You really want my review? Here goes. I’ve had Lyndstrom maintain my ac for several years. I bought and installed this unit in 2015. 6 months ago, during my biannual maintenance they noticed the coil was very dirty. Reasonable, since I have been doing some construction work in my condo for the last year. So I asked them to clean the coil. They said no because the unit is 10 years old. Well everything else is good, but they refused. Because my final construction work is painting, I need my ac unit cleaned so dust and dirt are not blown into fresh paint. I called them a couple days ago to schedule my biannual maintenance. They said no again. I had paid for the 2 maintenance sessions for the year. But I called another ac company, who came and said no high risk in cleaning the coil in place since the unit is still functioning properly. Next day lyndstrom comes to do their biannual maintenance and saw the coil was cleaned AND the drain line was immaculate. Not much to do since to clean the coil, even in place, the other company’s tech made sure the unit was functioning properly. So Lyndstrom does good work but they refuse to clean a coil if the unit is over 6 years old. So my advice is make sure the company you choose to maintain your ac doesn’t have this policy of not cleaning coils if unit is over 6 years old. Lyndstrom wants to make your unit work harder through a dirty coil so you are forced to buy a new ac. Sorry Lyndstrom, but you lost a long time customer. Pictures of dirty coil 6 months ago Lyndstrom refused to clean as part of maintenance and picture of coil cleaned by another company yesterday.

I purchased a Trane AC from Lindstrom Air Conditioning & Plumbing in 2018, and from the very first day, it’s been a constant source of problems. The initial installation was poorly executed. The base they designed didn’t even fit the unit properly, and as a result, the air filter media couldn’t be installed correctly. It took three separate service calls before they finally resorted to an improvised fix. Despite investing in their annual maintenance plan and having my unit serviced twice a year, I’ve encountered issues every single year. The most recent experience was the tipping point. The first technician who came out blamed a strange noise on a vibrating pipe, and when I asked him to investigate further, he actually said it was “above his pay grade” and did no diagnostics. Unsatisfied, I called the company back and they sent a second technician who did address the issue, but only after he’d completed the work did he inform me there was a $225 charge. When I questioned why this wasn’t disclosed upfront, they told me I could either pay it or use up my second annual maintenance visit to cover the cost. The maintenance done in August was clearly subpar—apparently the drain wasn’t cleaned properly—and now I’m stuck footing the bill for it. Lindstrom was recently bought out by another company, and it seems like they’re dismissing my concerns and any notion of taking responsibility for the unit or the quality of their work. I cannot recommend Lindstrom Air Conditioning & Plumbing. My experience has been nothing but frustration and unexpected expenses from a system that should have performed reliably and been installed correctly in the first place. Steer clear and find a more reputable company for your HVAC needs.

Your company is a joke, fake advertising, I was charged $670 for a leak test and freon, with the promise that my house would cool down, and never did. I called within two hours of service, no answer, I texted, I emailed, then I called again and the women said, "we aren't coming back out, we don't do 24/7 anymore, so you are fake advertising on your website, and you don't back up the work that you claim that performed

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Unprofessional and sloppy work, dangerously careless and they do not correct or admit to their errors. They are deceptive and extremely overpriced.

On 8/4/2022 we purchased and had installed a brand new AC unit for $7,000. We are snow birds who only visit Pompano once or twice a year. Every time we come the unit leaks inside the condominium. We have called and called, and had technicians come over at least 4 or 5 times since then to have this fixed. Not one has been able to do this. On the third time the technician said the slope was not correct so water was not draining and instead pooling, he "corrected" the slope and it worked for maybe two days. By the time it started leaking again we had to leave Florida. Every time we pay a fee and nothing gets fixed. I find it unacceptable that after spending all that money for a unit that is less than 2 years old, i still don't have a functioning unit.

Broke the Nest thermostat and not reliable

Cannot believe that they charge $99 “dispatch fee” to send someone to give me a quote for a new water heater !!! Makes me wonder how much more they charge to actually install a replacement new water heater definitely will not use them No other company charges customers to give a quote

My wife and I called them out, because of a plumbing/toilet issue. They service person Arny was very polite and professional but that was the EXTENT TO GOOD SERVICE FROM THIS PLACE. He told us that we needed a new toilet and gave us a price. the toilet alone was over 3xs more than the same toilet we bought from Home-Depot. That's just OUTRAGEOUS of a mark up. Then when they came back to install the toilet, they broke 7-tiles on the floor and couldn't do anything. They wanted to charge use a service charge for their fault. The REAL KICKER WAS THE MANAGER MR. FRANK PALMERO didn't even have the GUTS to even get on the phone with us to come to a RESOLUTION. He had the POOR TECHNICIAN go in and out of the house to tell him what to say. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I will never recommend this company to anyone. They really need to change their LOGO TO I HATE THESE GUYS. At the same time my neighbor had a/c problems and they wanted 1,600.00 more than Air around the clock for same UNIT. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST..
