Joe Taylor Restoration was sent by my insurance company after a pipe broke and flooded my home. They arrived within an hour. The crew was VERY polite, communicative, hard working, and professional. The Foreman Steve Voitus was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, professional and patient. Steve took the time to explain everything and returned the next day to check on the equipment and progress. Steve gave me his cell phone in case any problems occurred. The crew was very respectful of my furniture and put everything they moved back in the exact place it was moved from. The crew that returned 5 days later to put everything away and pick up their blowers & dehumidifiers was also fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about Joe Taylor Restoration and their staff. ON A SCALE OF 1-10 THEY DESERVE A 20!!!! THANK YOU!!!

Initially they were very good. Then there were a few damages that they caused but in the end they completely over charged me. Their billing department is atrocious. They overcharged me almost $10,000.00.

AFTER PAYING A DEPOSIT OF $3387.52, WORK STARTED AROUND JULY 1, 2015, FOUR MONTHS AFTER THE JOB WAS AGREED UPON. THE FINAL PAYMENT OF $2887 WAS MADE TO ERG ON OCTOBER 1, 2015 UPON COMPLETION OF THE JOB (TOTAL COST $5774.52). IN NOVEMBER, THE FLOOR BEGAN TO BUCKLE, PEAK, BEND, AND LIFT UP FROM THE FLOOR. AFTER A MONTH OF STALLS, ALIBIS, AND DELAYS, AND AFTER PAYING AN ADDITIONAL $148.40 BEFORE THE REPAIRS WOULD BE STARTED IN MID-DECEMBER 2015. THE TWO REPAIRMEN STATED THAT THE ORIGINAL INSTALLATION HAD BEEN IMPROPERLY MEASURED AND BADLY INSTALLED, ADDING THAT THEY WOULD CORRECT ANY FUTURE PROBLEMS. IN MAY 2016, PEAKING AND OTHER DETERIORATION STARTED IN OTHER AREAS. NOW ON AUGUST 1, 2016, AFTER MANY CALLS IGNORED AND NOT RETURNED, NOTHING HAS BEEN TO DONE TO CORRECT THE SITUATION OTHER THAN ALIBIS, STALLS, AND MORE DELAYS. I AM AT THE POINT OF TAKING LEGAL ACTION AND WORKING WITH CONSUMER PROTECTION OFFICIALS HERE. I WARN ANYONE THINKING OF USING ANY OF THE ABOVE ENTITIES TO STOP THINKING, JUST RUN LIKE HELL.

They plugged in a dehumidifier and an "air scrubber" for about 10 days and sent me a bill for $1600.  Initially they told me that my homeowners insurance company would cover the bills.  They also told me that they deal with similar claims all the time and insurance companies always pay them for the repairs.  Well, my insurance company didn't pay the bills, denied my claim, and now I'm stuck with a $1600 bill from this company.  All they did was plug in two machines and send me a bill for $1600.  What a racket!
I looked up the serial numbers of the machines online and for $1200 I could have bought both machines and saved myself $400. I tried negotiating with the company on the bill and they told me I was going to be put in collections.  They never mentioned that they charge $100 per day for keeping the equipment plugged in.  I'm never using this company again.
