The cabinets are solid and looks great. However, there is a design flaw in the pull out trash & recycle bin. You have to remove the front trash can to remove the rear trash can. With other cabinet companies, you can remove the rear trash can without having to remove the front trash can. We have to do this several times a week and it's a pain in the butt. The solution is to have the brackets come out another 1"-2". Or, better yet the company should buy trash cans from another supplier (like I did), that are approx. 1" narrower. The trash cans they buy are from Rev-A-Shelf and are too wide for the pull out design.

They're more of a stock cabinet company than custom, but they offer custom features for the cabinets. They did drawings based on my specifications and did not charge extra for that. They also worked with me on modifications providing 3-D models and layouts that my contractor could follow. I was very pleased with them.

The quality of the cabinets is better than what I had in a $950k house, yet the price is unbeatable. However, You just have to be very careful that the measurements are taken correctly and that you fully explain your new appliances, show print outs of measurements of appliances, etc., Go over the design 30 times and ask dozens of questions.  If you don't you could be responsible for the cost of redoing the cabinets that surround your appliances and any mistakes that happen in your kitchen even if it is the fault of the sales associate. As an investor of real estate, I couldn't find any better value for high end looking cabinets. The end product was gorgeous, but I did have to fight a bit to get there, because I didn't use a GC, just went to them directly for install so that I could save money.

The process was incredibly pleasant. From working with Leah in the showroom, until the installation was complete it was smooth and easy. She is very knowledgeable about measurements and the other concerns of planning a new kitchen. They were very accomodating too...we had houseguests coming, and wanted to get it done before they got here. So, J&K came out and measured for the granite template the same day we got our new cabinets installed, then came out and did our granite installation 2 days later. The gentleman that installed the granite agreed to come in 2 hours early to do it that day for us! He was in close to an hour and did a great job. We can't wait to work with this company again. I wish they were all this efficient, professional, competant, and NICE too.
