This review is factual and written in the hopes that it will truly help all potential customers considering “High End Impact Windows”. Please read the full review and look closely at the pictures. The owner or office manager may try to refute my review with their side of the story but pictures do not lie. We signed our contract on 9/22/20 and work was fully complete on 9/3/21. We were quoted 4-6 months, however we were not concerned about the delay. They began work in May 2021, from the time we signed to May there was zero communication from them, it was always us calling to get an update. If responsiveness/time is an issue for you, I would recommend you move on to the next company. Cons: • 1 year turnaround time; limited/no communication while waiting • Three major errors: o We added a new set of sliders, the owner recommended that we square off the picture window above the sliders. We agreed but also told him that we wanted it centered (see first picture below). After debating several times with the owner and foreman that an uncentered window was unacceptable, the owner finally agreed to come to the house. He was argumentative and told us that there was nothing wrong with it. In order to correct this they said it would cost us $4,700. After going back and forth (again severa weeks) the office manager finally said they would give us $500 towards the cost to fix their error - $4,700. Please take a close look at this picture and decide for yourself. The owner said we never requested the window to be centered and that we wanted a big window. Why would anyone want an uncentered window? As window experts why didn't they tell us prior to starting the project that this window (the center piece of our house) would not be centered? The reason they could not center the window was because there are support beams, so the simple solution would've been to place a smaller window so that it was centered. Prior to them putting in sliders there was a window there with a centered top window. The owner was defensive and told us that during our initial interview he gave us some free upgrades and that should be enough. We never asked for upgrades so why would he be throwing that in? My husband and I were floored by his lack of professionalism. We ended up hiring a new company to fix their error $4,700. o The entire crew was friendly except for the foreman, Martin. He oversaw the job and concentrated on our back wall where the extra sliders and uncentered picture window was located. When the job was done he literally “threw” stucco on our entire external textured backwall. The owner, Dror Max, agreed that this was horribly done and offered to “smooth out” the stucco and that we could pay one of his guys to retexture it. Why would we have them put stucco on, smooth it out for us to then hire someone else to texture it? We ended up hiring another company ($1,500) to have our back wall fixed. This included fixing the step that leads outside because that was done incorrectly (see pictures). o We drove to their showroom to pick out a frosted window for our shower. Our quote had the correct window item number but when the owner transferred the product number to the contract he wrote the wrong number. They installed a see-through window in our shower. This was corrected months later but it was after an argument and a very defensive owner. He said it was our fault for not catching his error. How would we know what the right product number is? • ES locking mechanisms on our sliders are flimsy and have a lot of “play”. The owner agreed but ES said that was a “normal amount of play”. “Pros”: • John, Rod and crew (minus Martin) were very helpful. If only the entire company represented the way they did this review would have been different. I’m a firm believer that mistakes happen but how a company manages them is telling. •They did pay $500 towards the error they made but remember the cost to fix their window error is $4,700. In summary, I would not recommend this company and we hope no one ever experiences what our family did.

They are very knowledgeable about the industry and the products on the market, and they truly enjoy the opportunity to assist you with any project you might have. To be clear, the sales team and the installers are equally courteous, efficient, professional and reliable. We are very pleased with the exceptional products and the services which we received from High Impact Windows and Doors. Great, all as promised, no suprises. Crew members were wonderful.

Crew of 3 were extremely competent and professional. Each window was a slightly different size and thus required custom treatment. Interior trim often need to be rebuilt including staining to fit the color of previous stain. Crew was able to customize and adapt for a very solid and nice looking end product.

The job went well.  Because we wanted the bottom track to be flush with the floor they had to cut a portion of the slab on all three doors which made a tough job even tougher.  This created a lot of dust but the guys did everything possible to minimize it.

They were able to stick to the schedule and complete everything is 3 days.  The doors look great.  We are very happy with the WinDoor product and the job that High Impact did.

They did everything well. I ordered two doors and other pieces on 6/15/2011, which took about 6-7 weeks to obtain. Everything was installed on 8/04/2011. Service and quality was excellent; they're responsive and did excellent job.

This company is excellent. Hired them to replace two front windows. Upon installation day, much damage was discovered in my walls that needed attention before job could be complete. The high end installers went to Home Depot and bought materials to keep my home secure since the old windows were taken out. They waited a month for us to do the necessary repairs with our contractors. They waited for payment and final approval. All of the workers were amazingly conscientious and helpful.

Very high quality work and attention to detail. Dror (owner) and his crew are extremely professional. They gave us the best windows and doors available on the market for a fair price. I recommend High End Impact Windows and Doors very highly to anyone that cares about quality and wants the best.

Company failed to start project on scheduled start date and canceled subsequent start date. Company failed to complete job within indicated time frame. Company installed a damaged door/window and did not disclose the damage. Company walked off job   Company treatened suit/ lein and refused to schedule completion of work unless paid in advance of finishing the job. Work only finished after contact with Better Business Bureau and the glass/door manufacturer.

The company was extremely honest and professional, and it was the most educated and knowledgeable on the product. It completed the work to its fullest and finished the job so that I wouldn't have to do any patching or trim work later. The price was extremely competitive, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
