GRANINO POOL & PATIO SVC

When we moved to our house in Hawks Landing, Plantation we found out that the pool was just serviced and paid for by the bank that used to own the property. No machines needed to be replaced at all. The home inspection confirmed that. The pool was dirty because high pressure roof cleaning that took place few days earlier to our arrival to the house. All equipment were in a very good working order as per the inspection of the house. We hired the pool service just to for final check and for monthly service. This contractor claimed that the spa blower is not working, only to find out when he came to fix that it needed only a long plastic tube that cost 10 dollars at the pool supply place, and it took him exactly 10 minutes to replace the old one. He charged me 246.00 just for that. then he claimed that the automatic controller that shift the heat automatically from the spa to the pool and vise versa, when you finish using the spa, "doesn't exist in the current system and need to be installed. He said that will cost 350 extra dollars. only to find out that the controller is already installed with the original equipment. We even used the spa and the pool and it worked fine. next day he showed up to collect the 350. He claimed that he just installed the auto controller, when I asked him to point to the part he just installed, he pointed to a box next to the heater. The box was old, scratched, rusty, and obviously installed long time ago. I confronted him and told him I will not pay, and will report him to the association. I also told him that we used the spa last night and the controller worked fine. Next day he snuck into my property without my permission, with his big assistant, cut the tube and removed the old "new" part so I have no prove against him, saying he installed it and he is taking it back. I even told him to produce any box, any order form or any invoice for the part that he claimed he just bought and claimed he installed but he couldn't. When I told him I will report him to the association, he laughed and told me he will even give me the association president phone number if I want. Just for fun I even offered him to pay the 350 dollars to install it back, he hesitated and thought about it and refused to re-install it. According to him, he refused to install back because he felt insulted. While in fact he was only interested in covering his track by removing the old box
