Rentals - Equipment
When I checked out the machine, they tacked on a fuel charge that was not mentioned when I originally called for an estimate. When I questioned the charge, they explained that most people don't return the machines with a full tank of gas. The sales guy that checked me out said that they would refund the fuel charge to me if I returned with a full tank of gas. When I returned the machine, the same guy that checked me out came outside and said that I was "good to go" and so I left. When I received my AMEX statement, there was no fuel charge refund. When I called about this, I received a lecture from a lady (Kathy) that would not stop talking about how it was my responsibility to tell them to check the fuel level. When I rented the machine, I was not instructed to remind them to do an inspection for me when I returned the machine.
