It went well and the price is reasonable. He completed the job and they were nice and professional and they did a excellent job. They were transparent about anything and they come morning and finish the job on the same day. They removed all the leaking items in my house, and did all the plumbing issues.

My Mother in Law's hot water heater went out in Victoria Park. I called Gary and he had a technician there quickly who was honest and fair and courteous. Gary was recommended to us by our electrician and we were very, very happy.

We had a toilet that I thought was beyond repair. Tried to buy a new one but couldn't find one with the right dimensions. Called Gary the Plumber and the next morning James came out and rebuilt it. He had a kit for our model on his truck. It's like NEW now. While he was there he adjusted another toilet that had a weak flush. He saw the problem right away and fixed it in minutes. While he was working I was cleaning a huge three-piece dresser mirror that I didn't realize was not attached and it came crashing down. James rushed out, set it back in place, and screwed the brackets to the back of the dresser. Then he volunteered to move another gigantic piece of furniture that weighed a ton back into place for me. All this in an hour! Thank you James and Gary the Plumber!

I called late in the afternoon because my downstairs neighbor had water damage to her ceilings below my bathrooms. Travis and James came out the next morning. They called ahead to let me know they were on the way. They checked my neighbor's ceilings and my baths and found both toilets had bad wax rings. They told me before they did any work what my options were and the prices. I was embarrassed that my toilets had caused damage downstairs, but Travis and James were both so nice and helpful that I felt 100 times better, and decided to go ahead and replace one of the toilets. While James de-installed one toilet, replaced the wax ring and re-installed the toilet, Travis went to Home Depot and bought a new one for the other bath. They had the new toilet installed in no time. They took away the old one and left both bathrooms spotless. Also, James went above and beyond and fixed some buckling tiles and grouted. What an improvement, I am delighted!!! I will definitely call them again when I need a plumber.

I had used Gary the plummber back in March of this year for a similar issue. This was for a kitchen Sink Stoppage. I was lucky to get the same technician James Morgan who did a great job. James arrived and was quick to access the problem and get things working again. James went on to explain the pressure of the water and point out some other pertinent details regaring the sink and fawcett. The best thing of course was his ability to communicate with my ederly mom in her native lanugage. Anytime I should have any plumbing issue I would like to call upon Gary the Plummber and have our favorite technician provide the service for us. Thank you for not only the servie but above all the hospitality you extend to your Customers.

Found Gary the Plumber here on Angies List. Called him around 9:30 am on a Tuesday to have this work done. He said he could have someone there that day and asked me to text him the info. I sent him the info and in the text asked for a rough estimate. At around 12:30 pm his employee Gary (who for the sake of clarity I shall call Gary 2) arrived. No notice that he was on his way, no schedule and no estimate. But as I was home I was okay with it, just a bit perturbed. I already had an access hole open in the back to get to the old valve. Gary took a look at it and said "so you want an estimate?" I replied yes and I was told it would cost $400.00. I felt that was a bit steep but as he was there and the company was well regarded I agreed. Gary 2 was quite pleasant and professional and despite a few problems along the way (some his, one mine) he did a decent job. It worked. He opened the hole I had already cut in the wall more for access and cut the plasterboard to about 1/4" away from the sink backsplash. Now this is going to give me a hard time to fix because of its proximity and I wish he had either gone 1/2" higher (which he could of) or talked to me first as I could have given him an alternative to enlarging the hole. My biggest issue is that this. The previous install had a threaded fitting from the copper pipe to the old valve. He removed this fitting (a Sharkbite) and then soldered the pipe into the new valve. The issue here is that in doing this he moved the center of the valve over a inch higher than it was. He did not install the handle or the cover but left that to me to do. So when I installed the cover after he left I found that the cover barely fits over the hole at the bottom and I can see light around some of the edges. My worry is water entering into the wall. I texted Gary the owner with photos and asked what can be done about this. He did call back right away so an A+ for responsiveness. After a bit of discussion he said I should caulk around the outside anyway - "thats what we normally do." Now at the time the significance of this did not register, but if that is what they normally do, why was this not done? Why are they not coming to fix it, especially as they have to come here to pick up some parts they left. So it was left to me to fix. There were a few others things that have added to my annoyance with this. But it basically comes down to at $400 (after a 10% discount), I just expect a much higher level of attention to detail and finish. I feel Gary the owner was responsive, professional and pleasant. I feel Gary 2 did a good job on the plumbing but the detail work and small things were missing. And I feel that I paid a high price for 3 hours of labor, some copper fittings (I ended up supplying some of these fittings also) and that at the price, the small things matter.

Plumber arrived on time. Was knowledgeable, courteous, honest, helpful. Work completed at reasonable cost. I will definitely consider using the same service again. Plumbers and plumbing services come and go (unfortunately) but I hope Gary the Plumber continues as is.

Gary showed up on time for 2 service visits ,gave us estimates in advance , advised us of possible issues that could occur. He along with one of his employees did a fantastic job , cleaned up the areas afterward. We would recommend this company to anyone looking for a plumber with no hesitation.

Very pleased with their responsiveness and work. Left a voicemail call on Easter Sunday when old hot water heater failed. Got a call back at 8:15 Monday morning, and the plumber, James Morgan, was on-site with new unit by 9:30 AM. James worked very efficiently, explaining what he was doing, and finished in less than two hours. Would definitely use Gary the Plumber again.

As a first time user of Gary the Plumber I was very impressed. My situation needed immediate attention since I have my elderly mother with me and she spends a lot of time in the kitchen. My Call went out in the morning and I had a tech at my home by Mid Afternoon. Mr James Morgan was very professional explaining what he saw and determining what to do quickly ...it was quite obvious he was knowledgeable and efficient at his craft. James saw I needed to replace my Disposer and went out to get it close by and made some minor adjustments and completed the entire job in no time. What really sealed the deal was the fact that James was Honest in demeanor, Friendly in nature and Personable. He even took time to say hello to my elderly parents and even spoke in Spanish with my mom. I have no hesitation to recommend Gary the Plumber and if I ever have a plumbing situation again I'll be sure to call and specifically ask for the talented Mr. James Morgan. Thank you,

This is the second time I’ve used the services of Gary. You can easily contact him by phone or text. He was able to work with my schedule and give me an appointment that was convenient for me.
